Overall thoughts
You might wonder why despite rating it a 7/10, I don't recommend this for all to read. A 7/10 is good no? Well it is, but this title is still not something I would recommend to all. It's a very good casual read for the avid fantasy/comedy genre enjoyer. But others may find this falling a bit flat in the main story. Perhaps, the comedy that is done pretty well, is what holds back the main story to achieve it's full potential. Or maybe it's just that the main arcs aren't complex enough.
-------------
On the character development
Very well balanced. It doesn't feel like
...
the main MC is overshadowing the other support characters and each new character is introduced with memorable personalities or quirks. Almost all the characters are quite likable too. Well maybe you might find the male lead to be conveniently overpowered at times, but he has other awkward quirks that still makes him an interesting character. It's on the back of this good character development that the comedy really shines in this title. The interactions between the party members is what sells the comedy in this tile.
------------
On the art
Now what do I say about this. It's a weird mix. While the art overall is really good, as the chapters progress, you will notice a drop in quality because the mangaka starts to overly rely on the chibi style goofy ahh face effects for comedy effects. And in these goofy ahh scenes, sometimes the background are a lot less detailed. The actions panels are above average but I have seen better action panel artwork in many other titles.
------------
Conclusion
If you want to read a fantasy setting comedy, go for it. You may really like it. Anything else, you may find it decent. If this does get an anime, the studio will have to pull out something extra in the main story to make it solid 7/10 anime title. But otherwise as an anime title, sticking to manga source, this can be a solid 6/10.

Overall thoughts
Now where do I start with this one. First of all, it's a unique fresh approach to the trope of this genre. That alone should tell you that it's maybe worth giving a try and see where it goes. It's only 25 chapters in right now, so far it's been above average. It stands out a bit from the horde of Shonens. Just barely........but is this a shonen in the first place? It feels like a sienen manga trying to be a shonen manga to me. Particularly because the action in this is well made but the setting doesn't feel rich enough for
...
a seinen manga.
------------
On the Character development
Probably one of the strong points of this manga. It tries really hard to sell you on the character development. Perhaps a bit too hard for certain characters. The rest of the support characters, are not going to leave much of an impression. The male lead and I'd say 2 female leads, take the center stage. That's not a big deal, but then the other support characters feel a bit forced in there when they start rambling on. Regardless, the character development although with a bit clique tropes, are done pretty well.
------------
On the story
Dungeon type setting. Fighting monsters in dungeons. That's it. That's the underlying story base. The story will mainly revolve on the emotions of the male lead and depending on how you feel about this MC, you will like it or dislike it. This manga's story is overly dependent on the characters rather than the lore of the fantasy setting.
-----------
On the art
Fantastic. The artwork is a treat, excellent work. Every action panel is a treat. The storyboard is easy to follow. You will enjoy the art in this one. The art bumps up the manga quite a lot.
------------
Conclusion
Quirky enough character setting to give it a shot, you may really like it. It can be a hit or a miss for you depending on how you like the characters. Specially the male lead.

A blunder.
Everything is fast paced. The characters are quite random. Randomly introduced, random personality tropes. A swirl of chaotic thinking. But that's also what makes this manga a pretty fun read too. So why is this a blunder? Well it got axed. For some reason, I am not aware of, it unfortunately got axed. If the creator kept at it until it at least got an offer from an anime studio, I am 100% it would have done at least above average as a seasonal shonen anime. Which would have shot up the popularity of this manga good enough. Which is why
...
I hope the reason it got axed is not because the creator gave up on it. Maybe some financial reason or something else, I understand. But the creator of this work is very, very talented. Let me tell you why. The art and action panels.
-----------
On the art -
What an unexpected treat to read. The action panels, are superb. You will be flipping pages on this one for the action. The art style, unique and plenty of details. The creator poured their best talents for drawing in this.
-----------
Conclusion -
With it axed on 105 chapters. It is up to you to see for yourself on why it got axed. Imo the story, the art, can't be the reason. It's as expected of a shonen manga. It could be the hap hazard character personalities, but even that is not something new to many other long running shonen titles. I'd say, it's worth a read once. Maybe just binge it. It makes me sad when a good potential work gets axed too early. This title certainly did not meet it's full potential before it got axed.

A Romeo X Juliet trope but in a shounen action setting......and it's executed really well. Definitely worth a read, even if you don't seem to like this type of setting it's worth giving a shot. The core of this story is the balance between the female MC and male MC. As long as this balance is maintained well, with enough complexity, exactment and action, the story will continue to be interesting to read.
--------
On the art -
Pleasing to the eyes, the art style is really well done. You won't be disappointed. However, some of the action panels maybe a bit hard to
...
follow as well as some other action manga out there. The action panel are not bad, it's well above average. It's a treat. The color scheme is also something the artists has focused on a lot. The overwhelming use of red/pink colors along with the warm colors really sets the tone of the manga really well. It fits perfectly.
--------
Conclusion -
If you are looking for a dynamic couple duo with plenty of action sprinkled in, give this one a try. You may really like it.

Overall thoughts -
A classic trope. That's what I would categorize this manga as.
A classic setting of swords and magic with the typical shounen character that received a misunderstood "low" tier blessing which actually turns out to be a high level skill. The classic female MC gets a high tier skill and parts ways. The male MC then struggles to discover his skills to match the vibes of the female MC once again. I feel like it's been done a hundred times now.
--------
On the art -
The art style is what stands out a bit in this title. I'd say it's well above average. Some of
...
the detailing done in certain scenes are praise worthy.
--------
Conclusion -
If you like this classic trope, it's a good read. If you don't, look elsewhere.

Overall thoughts -
Boushokuki no Ken, overall feels like a missed opportunity that could be a lot better than what it is. A Fantasy title marred by mediocre progression of the story. It truly is mediocre, because as the reader continues to read it, it's all the same old formula in many other shounens.....and that's the problem. It claims to be a Seinen, yet the story overall feels like a typical Shonen manga. Well I guess adding in some adult themes of blood and big tits probably makes it a Seinen, which to be fair, shonens add plenty of fanservice too no doubt. But Seinen
...
mangas have to typically rely on adult theme stories more than fanservice. I feel like this could have hit a better potential if was a Shonen. Or maybe if the story had a lot more themes that would be an interesting read for young adults. This seems like it targets neither, not shonens or seinens. It feels like it targets both, but misses both.
------
On the art -
The art is fantastic, the mangaka has poured in their skills as an artist quite well. The amazing skills of the artist is on full display in the storyboards of the action panels. The mangaka has a good grip on perspective drawing, you should be very easily be able to follow the action and enjoy it.
------
Conclusion -
So if you want to read just another fantasy setting manga with the classic tropes of power-ups, this is a decent read even till 20 chapters.

What a thrilling gem I have found. Though it is still publishing right now, hopefully it doesn't go on any hiatus anytime soon. I hope enough chapter are published for even an anime adaption. But of course, not every good manga can get a good anime adaption. For now, the manga is stellar and even with just 22 chapters in, I really recommend to give it a read.
---
Really the action panels are top tier. The artist has superb talent in making the storyboard panels. It will grip you. But it isn't all action. Rather most of it has goofy comedy sprinkled in between the
...
serious action. The comedy may be a hit or a miss for anyone, it works for me. It's an exiting read that is worth a try. I personally prefer more psychological, drama genre over action manga but if you are a fan of action based manga, I highly recommend this to you.

Hi. I 'll try to make a spoiler free, short and sweet review that could help you decide to watch this title. Trying to make it as spoiler free as possible. The way I try to express how the anime can become abstract, but I'll try my best to make it simple to understand.
---
It's been a long time since a comedy anime has hit this hard. The last one i can remember was Nichijou. Nichijou's comedy is randomness, like most other top comedy titles out there. But what Bocchi The Rock pulls of is not just the randomness, it's relatability. Many viewers, can relate
...
to Bocchi's anxieties, stresses about social cues. Specially introverted viewers. I am sure that, even extroverts would enjoy this title too. All the other characters, add a lot more than just the relatability to Bocchi.
---
The thing you need to understand about Bocchi's comedy is that it is rooted in dealing with social interactions. The anxieties, stress, speculations of whether you are saying the right things, whether you can be likable or if you are being a bother to others. All of these are expressed through Bocchi's hyper expressive attitude in the anime. This is, all very relatable. Even for extroverts. It's like looking at a reflection of your inner thoughts about all the social interactions you have before&after. But it is presented with a comedic effect. An excellent comedic effect. The jokes are hard to miss, curve balls that will make you roll on the floor and laugh. At least if you like comedy even a little but.
---
The animation in this anime is very unique. The studio was not afraid to try anything new besides just the usual way anime are made. If you do watch it, you will feel like the studio really enjoyed the process of making this anime.
---
If comedy is not to your taste, then Bocchi The Rock may not be for you. But still, I really implore you to give a try.

STOP! You were scrolling too fast! What if you missed a nice short and sweet review? It's good to be CAUTIOUS!
---
Cautious hero comedy is unlike any other anime. It is very rare. The closet resemblance would probably be Gintama's comedy style, but Gintama takes it's time to build on the characters first. Cautious Hero, with just it's 12 episodes manages to pack in it's unique comedy style like a box of your favorite snacks that you just can't help but keep coming back to it. It's got a weird pull to it for rewatching.
---
The main female lead, Lista, carries the show hard.
...
It's a classic tsukkomi and boke comedy. One character, i.e. the male lead is the straightforward but weird character and the other is the one that keeps stating the obvious, but also weird too. The male lead, Seiya, is the tsukkomi to Lista's bokke here. It is executed very well.
---
Though i have to say, the storyboard itself, may not be the best. It's nothing to write much about. You may even figure out the main plot as you watch. But the story is probably not the main selling point of this anime. It is definitely the tsukkomi-bokke combo.
