All the Shangari-la is design is like a single player game with coop feature (like MH , Souls like, and some JRPG). And the author treat all the plot point like a clueless new player who refuses to look for guide and enjoying the world. This is normally fine and all IF it's a single player game, but when author try to justify the whole setting in a MMO with 30mil playerbase that play it for 2 years, then the whole setting doesn't make sense anymore. The author also tries to apply all these "new player exploring blind" to the whole playerbase which make the whole premise making even less sense. We live in an era that if ANYONE discover one thing, it'd spread on internet like a virus instantly. The fact that no-one find ways to beat any Ultra boss, let alone not even know the secret areas for those super bosses is just baffling for a 30 mil player-base game.
There are SOO many content creators/ pro players that use gaming as a living nowadays, so mc being the only chosen one to be able to reach all these achievements because he plays lots of shit games is not a strong enough reason to justify any of the setting.
I'd even argue SOA MMO setting makes much more sense because the premise is base on a newly released game with no internet assessment and very limited playerbase, plus their life is on line too for attempting the bosses. So people not finding out secret areas/ ways to beat the bosses make total sense. The only thing SAO doesn't make sense is Kirito being unrealistically OP though.
I like your "Wonderful Wordsmiths" - Interest Stack. Good job.
