[Spoiler-free]
> It's an anthology but at the same time, characters from previous episodes show up so you should watch it in order.
> There's no romance in the series but it always seems like they tease us with the lead characters.
> Not something to binge-watch but just to watch randomly in between other shows and movies.
> I'm not a Bio student but a Bio-enthusiast and this was definitely a very accurate and creative way of teaching about the different types of cells and create stories out of them.
Watching Cells at Work really made me empathize and respect my body a lot more than before. Imagining that
...
the whole of humanity and other living beings have the same system of trillions of cells really makes you feel life is a miracle. Weird thing is that I ended up crying by the end (O_O) because the anime made me not only connect with my body but with the rest of humanity too. Some folks may feel bored if they are not able to relate but you should definitely give it a try and then decide (^_^)

This is surprisingly good. I'm surprised that there's just one review of this manga. Perhaps everyone's watching the show....which is also good. I'm surprised it's ratings haven't gone up yet.
Anyway the manga is episodic. It could make you feel all sorts of things like Joy, Laughter, Cuteness, The need to improve yourself in life by hard work, Wanting to improve your confidence, a slice-of-life calmness and peace, silliness, turned on (if you a guy and like lots and lots of panty shots) (which, by the way, never feels vulgar), beauty, sadness, self-realization, change of mind within oneself [sounds like Buddha]
As I read it, I noticed
...
that I smirked or had a smile at the side of my lips all the time.
Because that's what Asuka does. She unknowingly changes the minds of men (and women and all those within the transgender umbrella) (in the story, it's just men) And brings a purity within their thoughts and within ours too. That's what is this show of Kyouno Asuka.
(That's her name by the way) (yea!)

*Spoiler-Free for the entire Initial D seires* *Meant-to-be-short-but-fun review :P*
See, I am a fan of the Initial D series. So why have I given this one just a 7? It's not all bad depending on how you take it. You'll get what I mean:
(1) This stage is more dedicated to the development and growth of Keisuke. Since Takumi's unpredictable talent and dynamic races was what I loved, I felt a bit bored now and then. Not that Keisuke's races weren't interesting, they were all pretty good....but I guess you can't compare any other racers with Takumi. I did enjoy his character development. (Also Keisuke looked
...
rather ugly this season but he comes back to normal in Final ;-P)
(2) Thankfully there weren't any cheesy love-drama-heartbreak idiocy this season and just when you think things will be normal, a different side of the enigmatic Ryousuke's life is shown, which was actually quite interesting. So you get to see Ryousuke race once more.
(3)The opening song was pretty fun and the ending song was just \m/ awesome; and then -_- they were like, lets put a slow-love-ish-boring-sugar-fairy-princess-singing-no-one's-even-going-to-bother ending song that sounds like evERY OTHER SLOW-LOVE-ISH-BORING-SUGAR-FAIRY-PRINCESS-SINGING SONG IN A FRIGGIN' FAST-PACED RACING ANIME!!!
*ahem (4) THIS demotivated me even further coz now, I had to drag myself to the next episode. Although, I was able to keep patience during an episode. It's not as bad as it sounds. Plus, the curiosity of wanting to know 'who's gonna win?' will always be there. All-in-all it's good. (Anyway, anything is better than that horrendous third stage :P)
(5) I guess I should see Fifth and Final Stage as one because this stage is entirely a build-up for Takumi's race. And Boy! is that a race!! My review for Final Stage is filled with exclamation marks XD
All I will say is that, if you wanna get to the really good part, you can sit through this one.
(Actually, if you wanna, just skip this season because story-wise it doesn't really matter. All they are doing is racing every group in the Kanagawa prefecture. Final Stage is just a single race of 4 episodes.)
Your Choice ;P

*SPOILER-FREE Short and Cute ^_^ Review for the Initial D series*
(If you haven't watched fifth stage you should! just to get to these four episodes!! >_<)
Also pardon my Exclamation marks use but that's how much I liked this season!!
Fifth Stage left me a little demotivated and I had to force myself to begin Final Stage. And Thank God! If you love the Initial D series, please sit through Fifth Stage just to get to this one.
+++This race is unlike any other I've seen and that's all I will say about it! Just when Fifth season made me forget about Takumi, he entered from a corner
...
and made me remember what I had missed and showed me how much he has changed!
For two episodes my heartbeat got so weird - it literally beat fast but kept sending so much chills throughout my torso I had to clutch myself the whole hour!
+The emotional ups and downs that both drivers go through within the most unpredictable race's span is shown very nicely.
Even though Takumi is the one we root for, you still feel for the kid cause both are so alike. (Also I wished he would've been the main character cause he is so much cuter! and Takumi is like...meh)
- I guess the only part I dislike was how the characters spoke as if they were conversing for the first time just in order to give the viewers exposition.
Did I enjoy this show? It's been two hour since I finished watching and I'm still feeling cold in a 33 degree environment...sooo....pretty much a lot more than any thing I've ever watched!!!
(Also I think a health check-up is due now....

IN SHORT, this is what Seitokai Yakuindomo + the sequels are:
96% referencing sexual terms and non-veg jokes
[The measure of this appearing is every 14.75 seconds]
1% making fun of Suzu's height
1% Idiocy of other characters
2% Tsuda's reaction to all this nonsense.
The best part is the last one :3
It's episodic but jokes can continue in further episodes.
...
I misunderstood it as a harem, fan-servicing to make up for it's bad jokes sorta anime, but it's none of those. Never did I find this anime to be vulgar. The male lead doesn't chance upon "opportunities"; he infact has to remain calm and mature to balance with the rest of the characters "energy" and "enthusiasm" and it's quite an entertainment to see that!
Even if you don't like ecchi talks, being open to them is plenty! If you do, you've come to the right place.
There is no story as such...it mainly revolves around the activities of the Student Council. They are, ofcourse, highschool students so they pass into the next year and will graduate eventually.
Characters:
1 male, 2-3 males in the background, everything else is a girl. But they are all have their own quirks so it's very colorful.
Plus catchy songs
You can watch this anime whenever you want or if you've got nothing else to watch and wanna rewind/unwind/whatever. And I promise: the more you watch it, the funnier it gets :D

I'm a bit nervous to write this manga's review coz I really want to make it sound interesting for y'all to not overlook this one. Bari Haken, to me, is one of those undiscovered mangas that are genuinly very good. And in what terms is this manga good?.......
For it's freakishly amazing slapstick humour!! NOW, if you are into this kinda stuff even a little bit.....you will most certainly like this manga. Even gag jokes are supposed to have a certain class and Bari Haken delivers that well.
So the story goes about this guy Mitarashi Dango who is a big-time otaku. A little fight over
...
his anime figurines is misunderstood after he defeats a school gang leader or banchou and misunderstandings ensue and now he is hailed the banchou of the era. This forces him to keep his otaku life a secret from everyone.
Each chapter he deals with a new problem, hiding his secret, making friends and enemies along the way without really doing anything but by only being misunderstood. Every situation he falls in, which he would rather run away from, circumstances and people create a misunderstandings making him the hero.
And the only person having sense in the room is Dango, who is helpless and can only go with the flow (He is a very sweet character but can also be a badass)
You can say Barihaken 'specializes' in jokes through misunderstandings, all shown in the most comical manner.
Ofcourse no manga gets good solely with one genre. That would be boring.... there is also a fair share of action, drama, romance, martial arts, profanity, school-life, seinen, shoujo, shounen, sports & violence aaaaalll enveloped in sheer comedy :D
Barihaken is very entertaining. Seriously this is one of the funniest mangas i've ever read! After the first chapter, I felt this manga had potential to entertain me....and BOY! It most certainly did, I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. Ofcourse a certain joke will create a different reaction in different individuals, but the reaction will be a good one,,,, I mean who doesn't like to laugh, afterall comedy is the most loved genre of all.
Don't wanna take my word for it then find out yourself ;)

This anime is going in the All Time Favourites List along with the other classics, you know like one piece, naruto, bleach, dbz and all that stuff.
I'm not comparing with them though. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMAB) is not exactly like them. It is not the usual 'go on an adventure' type with dozens of episodes and fight scenes that all look the same. FMAB is more story-oriented and tactical.
First, the story is very well wtitten and everything is properly planned out and coincides with each other bringing out every element in the right manner at the right time. The concept is really good with the
...
right blend of fantasy and reality.
Although the brothers are the focus of the show, each and every character has a role to play and help develop the story accordingly and develop themselves as well. This keeps the viewers alive to every character.
The soundtracks are soo cool. You would love atleast 4 of 'em.
I am not bothered by animation/art, but it is really good though.
I also liked the fact that there were some great statements and quotes about life, you know.
Not to mention, FMAB is one hilarious anime!! Then a little bit of drama and a little bit of a romance here and there gives it a proper outfit. I could recommend any type of person to watch this anime. For me it has become one of the classics
I saw this show when I was small and liked it instantly. Because I didn't see it properly I saw it again, and boy, was I glad I did! I loved every bit of it. Now I wouldn't say it doesn't have flaws, but why be a nit-picker when it is so enjoyable. No anime is perfect to everyone's mark afterall, eh

This review goes for both Naruto and Naruto Shippudden.....and all the 10 movies and 6-7 specials as well as the spin-offs. [no spoilers]
I've been through so many reviews saying naruto is an over-rated anime....
And they are not wrong. Perhaps naruto may be a little over-rated. Some say the story keeps collapsing, others complain about the animation, things don't make sense even to the supernatural and fantasy genre, flashbacks can be lengthy (it's more than in the manga), the number of fillers (I side them on this) are more than there should be.....so maybe Naruto is over-rated.....but why?
I know how they feel. I keep wondering what
...
was it that made people score Clannad, Spirited Away to the top 15 list (pardon for those who liked it).
Just like they speak so of these animes so compellingly, I shall speak a little so of this one:
There is something about the Naruto series that makes us just love it. Maybe it's the story which so cliched or unpredictably entertaining which doesn't want to make you miss a single episode, or the characters which are so much varied and contrasting making you laugh yourself out. Maybe it's the action which can make one thrilled and surprised at times, or the length of the series which you keep watching and eventually start to like it alot, like a normal song. Maybe it is the songs! People love it for some reason or maybe all of it. It just makes us feel so lovable towards it.
And it's not a first.
I've noticed there exist this category of animes that are usually action-based, supernatural, fantasy related with episode numbers exceeding hundreds and dozens of sequels and side-stories and a classic - Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, etc. etc., and of course, Naruto.
All of them may have so many minor or major flaws in them and may not make it to the top 15 or 50 list....but they are the ones which stays in our memories longer, no matter what your type of genre and likings are. Which while caught during flipping through channels many years later we wouldn't mind watching it for some time, no matter how senseless it feels then, which would make you say "Aaaah the good ol' days, I loved this anime."
Perhaps it's why they have so many more fans all over the world than haters and have their characters on every anime site you go too [and (sadly or not for some) have hentais made over them too ): ]
I watch them and sometimes even I notice the flaws in them and wonder "maybe it is over-rated (fans are gonna kill me), but what the hell." and I continue.
It's not worthy or un-worthy of your time. It's just plain enjoyable, thats all : )

This is one of the best mangas for passing time.
[Note : This review is for Yandere Kanojo (Joker) as well as Yandere Kanojo (Online) since both are really the same]
Those who don't know, this is Yandere Kanojo (Joker) which features in some magazine. The other comes online (although now both are available online). I'll tell the difference ahead.
So Yandere Kanojo doesn't have much of a plot really, but thats not important. It's a 4 koma manga with many normal pages in between. There is no separate story in each 4 koma, they are all related in that chapter, so it doesn't make a difference really.
Yandere
...
Kanojo is a really good gag manga and hilarious sometimes. Full of gags, and sometimes normal jokes, and sometimes lame ones....so lame that even the characters mention how lame jokes the author can make! The characters can be very funny. Stating obvious cliches and all. So it's really good for those who enjoy gags.
There is a story involved here too but it moves rather slowly.
The characters develop slowly too. First only the protagonist girl and guy are present but later more characters are introduced and soon become main characters. This has been updated up to the point where character back-stories have finally started to emerge and it's actually quite intense and good for such a silly manga
Story :
So this geeky glasses guy and the deliquint girl have a love at first sight under the cherry blossom trees (cliche!) and so they start dating but secretly or the deliquint girl will ruin her image. Aaaaannd thats it! Thats the main story atleast. When the other characters develop, the story gets developed along with them.
Where i am reading currently, the story has just began to evolve and complicate, so at this point i can't say much.
Difference between Joker and Online :
Like i said before, they are really the same. The gags in both are hilarious. The main plot is all the same but it's ''sub-stories'' which leads to the main story are different and are not included in each other. Every charachter other than the main are introduced at different times in a different manner.
Don't keep reading serious mangas all the time...read a little gags too sometimes ^_^
Gags all the way!

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is RANDOM, DENSE, COMPLEX, SIMPLE and over-all RIDICULOUS! [I mean it]
I won't praise it all much and will state what you're going to find here.
SZS is full of gags and random jokes. It includes long and short "debates" and discussions over a particular topic. The topic can be very interesting or very dumb, making some good points or useless talk. It's full of ups and downs and everywhere in between. It's all talk and no action. But smart talk.
Many mention there is a lot of dark humour....but it's not that much. There are dark terms, light terms, silly terms, complex terms, sometimes
...
ecchi terms, Japanese terms, Non-Japanese terms and the list goes on. You will always find a term your familiar with, which makes it even more funny.
Characters problems are always a hot topic of discussion. So in that sense it could be considered dark.
Here's how it goes :
There is no story to it. There is this high-school teacher who wears those yukata-thingies all the time. He is the most pessimistic person around and believes that he is always in despair. Picking up the most simplest things, the really complex ones and somestimes really dumb things in life, describing it in a negative manner and putting himself in despair. He despairs on his name as well (which will literally translate to Mr. Despair/Despair Sensei when written horizontally). Always trying to hang himself when he's in the mood.
By his side are some very 'different' (weird) students of his class.
[All the episodes are the same and not related to each other at all so you can see it in any order. All the seasons and special episodes are the same as well. Only Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei has an actual 'story']
CHARACTERS :
Are the most important part. It's full of colourful and not-so colourful characters. Each of them contributing to these discussions. They are the fun part, the humour, the despair. Most of them are girls, so it's sort of a harem (nothing like THAT)
ENJOYMENT :
Well kids won't enjoy or even understand the anime. If jokes made on talks interest you, you will like this. Perhaps you would like it alot or find it very boring. Thats up to every individual.
When I saw it first, I didn't even feel like completing half of the episode..but then I lingered back and saw it and really liked it. I think it's smart and rather funny. If you like a few episodes, you will like it all. Because all the episodes are the same.
The Openings are great by the way. Kinda funky! (Sang by the voice actors themselves)
Enjoy in despair :)
