Although funny for their jokes too, a very crucial similarity between these two anime and also what makes them twice as funnier is both have reaction-based comedy (don't know if there is a word for this term) i.e. characters themselves criticize the jokes, statements made and the mannerisms of characters (comically). Plus both are episodic anime with continuing jokes. And ofcourse, they are a great choice if you're in the mood for something light and silly :D

Both protagonist end up in a group of delinquents where only he is the only one having apparent sense of the stupidity taking place. Both the Setting is in a High School. Both are slapstick humour/gag comedy. Sakigake!! Cromartie Koukou's jokes are more through conversations and a variety of unique characters while BariHaken is senseless-funny overall.

Both are great shows; slice-of-life, comedy, gag genre. What's most similar between the two is the restaurent setting and the comical feeling it gives! Both animes surround the lives of the people working in the restaurent...though Shinryaku! Ika Musume is more focused on the antiques of the protagonist while Working!! depicts the relationships among the co-workers... And ofcourse both are hilarious shows and great to pass time :D

Couples in love living together when temptations arise. Dousei Recipe is more comical and light-hearthed whereas Okusama wa Joshi Kousei has more drama and stronger depictions. Both are very romantic.

Both have a high school girl who looks very creepy when they smile. Both girls fall for a charismatic, nice guy. Kimi Ni Todoke relates to relationships and a little more towards the shoujo genre, Nousatsu Junkie has a fashion related environment with more comedy.
