Both start the exact same way with the prince dumping the "villainess" publicly after meeting a generic heroine character. Both run directly to the final boss that's destined to kill them. Difference is this one actually has a pro-active MC that uses her current skills, life long connections and education to her advantage. She doesn't runaway from her problems but rather takes the bull by the horn (and will tell it off if it ruins her dress!)

Similar humor style with blink and you'll miss it gags. Both can be considered deal with the supernatural but with a lighter air. Similar art style.

Similarities :- - Girl falls into a fantasy world with far eastern themes. - Girl is a bit of a Mary Sue with her being the only one that can be described as "normal" - Girl has brown hair and eyes... because normal. - Romance plays a major role. - Hints at a reverse harem. Differences :- - Fushigi Yuugi dives deeper into Chinese mythology and character development - The art is more stylized in Fushigi - The main girl is proactive in Fushigi, In Kakuriyo she just stands there and things happen around her.

Similar theme of normal girl falling into the (Japanese) spirit world with hints of a reverse harem. In this one she runs a shrine instead of an inn however the focus is on the different spirits she meets and romance.
