I'm going to respond to both of your messages here! First off, sorry for taking so long to answer!


Life has been a bit crazy lately so haven't had a chance to watch anime or be on the site.


I put them in the same bracket because, in my opinion, they all have the plot, art, soundtrack, etc. that I am looking for. I am also a sucker for romance and friend groups in anime. And if that is done right, then in my mind that makes it a masterpiece! Everyone uses the scoring differently here, I wouldn't think too much about it lmao.


But I will add that Bleach was one of the first anime I ever watched, I remember waiting for a new episode to show, then when the last episode aired on tv I cried so hard because I felt like I lost my best friends. I hold Bleach very close to my heart. I know that sounds really dramatic but anime was all I had growing up since I was homeschooled and lived in the middle of nowhere. But enough about that!


Thank you for the recommendation on the Kingdom manga! I will give it a read. I don't get many manga recommendations!

Quite a unique review of Aku no Hana. I wonder if my memory of the manga, from when I read it when I was 16, is skewed towards the last part. Maybe I should re-read it to find out lol.

Funnily enough, your description of being moved to tears by art almost made me cry because it brought to mind my favorite emotions captured in media. I guess I'm feeling somber tonight.

Completely agree, it's also really cool how it's a metaphor for the storyline itself and the conflicting themes of the show
