As for Honey Lemon Soda, I totally get the sentiment on it being kinda average, especially premise/plot-wise. For a shoujo, it is very standard and doesn't do anything new or revolutionary for the genre. I believe it's really popular in Japan though (having a live-action adaptation too) and it's probably bc it's a decent gateway to newcomers in the shoujo/romance genre. Personally, I just like seeing shoujo anime adaptations that actually get proper care and attention to detail (when it comes to presentation) bc there have been some I've seen where I'm like "no one working on this cared about the production at all and it shows" T~T

As for what studio I would have wished to make Sakamoto Days. I'd say either Cloverworks or Bones. I've seen a lot of people mention MAPPA as a wishful pick, but personally I don't feel like every action anime needs the level of sakuga that they do. I think choreography and composition matters more for a series like Sakamoto, and I think Cloverworks and Bones are known for excelling in that area.

That's good to hear that season 4 is still just as good and entertaining as the other seasons!! I'm debating on waiting for it to finish to binge it or to watch it weekly xD

And yes I am watching Sakamoto Days and Honey Lemon Soda! I've read the mangas for both of them, so I feel like my opinion on them will be more based on how it's adapting the source material. From an entertainment perspective, I'm enjoying them a lot! I'm just happy to see the characters I once read on pages now animated and talking! The Honey Lemon Soda anime took me by surprise by how pretty they chose to animate it, especially since I've seen many shoujo adaptations get the short end of the stick :'D So it is refreshing to see a shoujo anime be handled with such care.

As for Sakamoto Days anime, it's fun so far~ Though admittedly (and I think a few die-hard Sakamoto Days fans share a similar opinion), where we wish it was animated by another studio ^^; The adaptation right now isn't bad IMO tho! I think people who say that it's bad are over-exaggerating xD But it would have been nice to see the series be more elevated through animation, especially for how action-heavy the series is. Overall, I do enjoy it and find myself looking forward each week purely because I love Sakamoto Days manga a lot!

Omg I'm happy to hear you came across me from a forum post! And yesss Dr. Stone really took me by surprise and got me invested with how centered it is around science. I ended up binging the first two seasons back when there were only 2 at the time! But for real, it even made me wonder why I didn't check it out sooner!! I really loved Bill Nye the Science Guy as a kid, and Senku reminds me of it so much xD

I haven't gotten around to watching the latest Dr. Stone season that is airing right now, but I see you are! How do you like it so far?
