I liked it a lot, think the gemistry between Ameku and Takanashi was great. The concept of a doctor analyzing crimes with her knowledge & own unique look is a concept that kept me watching it. I don't complete mystery anime that often, so mission accomplished and that's not because I don't like the genre. They are just a hard genre to keep the suspense going and a lot of them aren't bad (Beside's the dinner table detective, watched 1 episode and dropped it) but a lot are just ok and lose me after a couple of episode's. but M.D doctoer detective keped it interesting, it isn't mind blowing or anything but had low expectations to begin with and was suprised how much I like it. A bit weak finally imo, but was definitely satisfied and a bit sad that the source is a manga of only 23 chapter's because wanted more time with the characters. But a short and sweet story is also nice to have, makes it recommendable to people and it wasn't dragged out too long either. would've liked double the chapter's or 2 season's of 12 episode's to get more out of the story & flesh out the characters more but oh well it is what it is.

Think it is a decent sequel, but still prefer the first season over the second. Was surprised how action oriented it was, it almost felled like a typical shounen with drama elements like Rerouni Kenshin. While I saw season 1 as a drama with some fantasy elements more acine to Magus ancient bride, what had a more fantasy setting then happy marriage does tough. Idk why there is such a big shift in setting, it makes you wonder if the author of the novel needed to shift more in settings or if it was planned that way & do prefer the first season more as mentioned but still a really good anime nevertheless.

I knew what to expect because I've read up-until this point, but was caught up and never gone back to it. Would say it has a lot of enjoyment for me, but doesn't come alone with a lot of problems I have. First the story is very mid, not bad but serviceable at best. It has the problem of making the mp so overpowered that non of the side character's really matter or the focus they did get didn't matter at all beside's for shock-value for the main threshold to overcome. Jin-woo is Solo leveling & think they leaned way too much into that, what made the world we care about not that important. Also talking about serving no purpose, i'm glad he achieved he's goal of healing he's mother but didn't care about her at all. again a hurdle to overcome with little payback, she served no purpose after she was revived. That said it may be a trashy power fantasy but it's a very enjoyable watch, had a great time with it so-long you don't think to much about the story and lackluster side-cast. It defaintly up itself in terms of shear hype and the animation is great, not to big on the ost it had a great Op by LiSA even if I'm not the biggest LiSA fan & the ost itself ws a bit generic ngl. But that's a personal thing, that aside think a low for s1 and mid 7 for s2 is a more then fair score for it.

Also Hina in Blue box is done dirty, good for Taiki to be straight with her but it was so heartbreaking. Especially when I'm Team Hina, nothing against Chiho but when it comes to love she a child. What's for me the most frustrating thing about her character bc don't like the whole will they would they and extend it for way too long. While Hina is honest with her feelings for him, confessing to him and giving him the space he needs. It was especially heartbreaking with the development she got in the last episodes and building that all up to break any chance she had made me a bit pissed ngl bc really like he characters & was rooting for her even if I knew deep down she isn't endgame.

Heard only great things about it, but discovered it pretty late in this season. So I'm waiting till the season is done and gonna binch it instead. I'm excited to watch it, a few weeks to go.

I love it, think they kepped the same quality that the first season build up, what's a feat upon itself bc I adored the first season. Do slightly prefer the first season atm, but the mystery aspect kepped being amazing all round and MaoMao kepped being her quirky but entertaining self. Idk if you noticed but put the Apothocary Dairies in my top 20, what's rare for a modern to be up there for me. Especially when I'm also a Retro watcher for the most part, there are 3 titles in there from the 2020s (Vinland Saga being from 2019), so yeah up there with Sonny boy & Heike Monogatari for modern titles. Did notice Jinji not being that relavant this season we barley saw him thus far, what's a shame bc the diamic for MaoMao and Jinji is so entertaining to watch. What's probably my biggest complaint, what is a very small one may I ad. So yeah I'm very posetive with Apothocary Dairies.

I'm obviously a bit biased because I've watched the original Anime 11 year's ago, so i'm nostalgic for Rerouni Kenshin. Feel thing's finally get's interesting, but that's because the first season was more a introduction and they only started to show shishio in this season. If they show him it get's more interesting because he is that classic Anime villian you love to hate, not to say nothing happend before. But Rerouni Kenshin starts with the villian of the week with some slice of life elements especially the orginal run had the latter what's stil good but it missed that edge without shishio and his group, talking of which some are more memorable then other's like Soujiro & Aoshi are really memorable but the rest aren't that close to that. also liked the bound between Kenshin ad his master not bc they we're particularlly close but they had a good dianamic what I liked. The Hajime Prison bit was also very interesting think he's a cool character, it does feel like watching it again for the first time bc never re-watched the original and 11 year's is a lot. Overall enjoy it more then the first season.

It's one of the most enjoyable romance Anime I've watched, that said do like how both Chizuru and Hina both are a equally good choice for the protagonist but being a lot different from each other at the same time. Tought the protagonist would be boring and blend at first glance but he grew on me overtime and has a lot of depth to him just like the older dude from the batminton team and ofc Chizuru and Hina. Do wish there we're atleast a little bit more relevant characters then the 4 mentioned but having a small contained cast of main characters isn't that bad, but it does make the world feel a bit small especially when a lot of the badminton rivals aren't that explored or atleast for now. I know you like Chizuru more, I'm personally a Hina fan bc she's more direct and open about her feelings what I like and what kinda frustrates me about Chizuru at times. We all know Chizuru will win that's where I feel it will be heading, but her not realizing her feelings on moments that most characters do would make the story less a will they would they romance and less bloated. She doesn't have to realize directly but I'm 18 episodes in and not that much development happened between the Mc and Chizuru or atleast not romangicly wise. The show is far from perfect why I only give it a 8 and not higher, but do enjoy it a lot and it has some great moments.

Back to Orb: on the movement of the earth. It's great and especially love how it has different protagonists of different generations. Think that's a very good concept that they nailed perfectly, even if I like the first protagonist the most and the second the least they all surved their purpose very well. It has very intelligent dialog that doesn't look down on the viewer and honestly a amazing cast of characters. Idk how they'll end a show about proving the earth is round with astrology, but it's a great concept and a Anime I enjoy greatly.

Hey quick question, do you know what the Mal is named of F.M.Animefan. We're very close and do miss the guy.
Helianthus_E322 Dec 30, 2024 12:11 AM
honestly put it onhold by episode 9 and wanna get back to after completing the fall season. for now it's really great like the concept, the astronomy theme is something that isn't explored much. some people say it isn't a accurate representation of history, but honestly don't care bc it's fiction after all not based on a historic event. honestly this is something I don't like about the mal community that people can be really nitpicky for no reason or either to be cool. gonna give my full toughts later, for now this is all I have to say.
