Late to the anime party. Faded it because all the cringe kids at my school watched it. Once I left college and had no social life(not that I had one anyway), I decided to give it a go.
I started with "When Marnie Was There". Don't know why, I just saw an aesthetic gif and was curious what it was from. I enjoyed it and realized anime isn't as cringe as I thought.
I then decided to watch "A Certain Magical Index" simply because a friend had a Misaka pfp. Then I watched "A Certain Scientific Railgun". These two shows made me rethink whether it was "not as cringe as I thought" lol. But I actually enjoyed the cringe in a weird way.
So from there, I did my own research and started my anime journey.
I rate anime based on enjoyment and relatability. I'm a simple man; I don't dwell on things like sound, art, pacing, character development, or other nerdy criteria when deciding if I like an anime.
Unrelated to anime I enjoy: almost all sports, anything competitive, video games, crypto, devious activities
