Synopsis

Duchess Leticia Dorman has been betrothed to Crown Prince Clarke since age seven. She was once a rambunctious and free-spirited child, but the strict education she’s receiving to make her a fit future princess has really put a cramp in her lifestyle. Her only hope is that the prince might someday take an interest in someone else—so when Clarke shows up to a royal ball with an unknown woman at his side, Lettie is overcome with delight, presuming her dream has come true and her engagement has been broken off! She wastes no time retreating to an easygoing countryside life, but her newfound peace is cut short when the prince shows up and claims she’s still his fiancée! Clarke is determined to win Lettie over and marry her, while Lettie is determined to resist his charms and escape! Who will emerge victorious in this heart-pounding battle of wills?

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (3/12 eps)
This anime is about romanticized kidnapping, but I guess this kind of thing happened quite a bit in the past. The male character is honestly kind of creepy, but how bad could it really be if she decided to marry him? She’d probably be better off with him than with some of the other nobles...

That said, I want to make it clear that I don’t support this anime’s premise, and I definitely don’t think it’s about love. At most, she might develop Stockholm syndrome, but love? I highly doubt it. The animation is nice, the music is okay, and the characters' personalities aren’t bad—except for ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (4/12 eps)
Since a couple dozen other people have already said that the prince is an absolute slimey amd disgusting fellow, I'll skip over it.

Animation wise nice. Music is cool. Female lead is great. There's moments of 4th wall breaking that serves for some comedic relief.

Prince is basically what a stalker would be if they had absolute authority. Big bro is alright. I can't really get the feel or reason for the existence of the character that causes female mc to fly off the hook in the first episode. Anyways, as long as u don't get into the absolute unacceptable moral implications and shut ur ...

Preliminary (3/12 eps)
No means no.

Just because you give the Male love "interest" a nice face and smooth words doesn't change the fact that he is abusing his position of power to force the female lead into a relationship she has no desire to be in. The happy go lucky feel of the show implies the two will have a happy ending together but that doesn't make the story feel any less disgusting.

The animation side of things is perfectly acceptable, it's pretty, there's plenty of actual motion and not just panning frames all the time, the voice acting and all is good. They made a good anime, but ...
