Honestly, if you're a girl who identifies as a fujoshi then finding a guy who identifies as a fudanshi is like rare! So to find a short form that literally makes that fantasy a reality is great! Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu was such a hidden gem and I loved it. 10/10 Recommend for all fujoshi or fudanshi out there.

Honestly the ridiculousness, unpredictability, and the genuine uniqueness of these two shows is uncanny and I'm not even trying to make a pun. I loved them because they just kept me guessing and laughing the entire way through. They probably won't sell you on plot, but I definitely think the selling point for these shows are how much fun you have watching them.

They both have otome game elements to them. The male characters are over the top and the female character feels extremely underwhelming. For some people this niche is amazing. Honestly, this musical rendition of Diabolik Lovers is quite....something.

The art style and plot are so similar it is eerie, but I feel like Xam'd being shorter was really nice in that I still got a lot of character development. There was a nice ethnic diversity in the characters, which I really appreciated as well.

If you like boys idol shows then you've just got to see B-Project. It is like Uta-pri with a more in depth insight to daily idol life that feels more authentic. Don't get me wrong, I love Uta-Pri, but B-Project just felt like a mature version of it.

They both possess a fantastical supernatural element to them that separates the already fantastical characters from the main character. I find their world building to be fascinating as well as the political characteristics embedded in each.
