I spend far too much time writing text walls in the notes, but pls read them if you'd like my review on a series! I also might give specific ratings in between stars. Someday I will actually post those reviews, but they're all unorganized thoughts right now lol.
It's hard to pick only 10 favorite anime/characters, so whatever's on there is really what I think is the best. Also I will usually drop a series if it's not interesting to me.

So I thought about it for a while, and discovered all the series I like have one or more of these:
- characters with development/funny character dynamics
- intriguing plot that keeps you wondering what's next
- realistic drama that is not happening for dumb reasons
Bonus points (not the most important) :
- nice animation with good directing (and for manga, interesting panel layouts)
- memorable ost that fits the vibes of the show
- good voice acting

Some other things I can't put on my list: I read a lot of webtoons, (like ITGR, Not So Shoujo Love Story) reading Idolish7 part 4/part 5, and have watched the tv drama version of She Loves to Cook, She Loves to Eat
