In This Corner of the World is an anime movie you do not come across often nowadays. It blends a slightly ghibli style with a more mature approach yet it is neither dark nor overly idealistic. It's a story that could have easily been live action but in using animation we are invited to live with the main character and her feelings. It's very character driven in that sense and I'm sure we all know someone like the main character honestly. She is very forgetful and has her head in the clouds, which is perhaps what makes her charming. Nevertheless, the story does not shy ...

This series seems to have received a lot of good ratings and while it was quite good at keeping you at the edge of your seat I have to say that it failed in a lot of aspects.
Art:
Maybe this is just my opinion but I thought the character design was not be suitable for the theme of the series. There are shows like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica that also have this but the character design in Madoka was quite unique and it stood out making you guess. In Shinsekai Yori the character design is really common and it reminded me of some shoujo anime like ...

Loups=Garous (Anime) add
I really enjoyed Loups-Garous but the story was extremely confusing and it had lots of gaps and that kind of annoyed me (so I got the book).
Story: The story is very intriguing and interesting but after some point things are just going too fast and a lot of information is merged into just one scene. Therefore many things don't make much sense and end up being very confusing.
Art: There wasn't anything exceptional about the art. I wonder if a more realistic art would have suited the script better but I really liked the character design.
Sound: I personally don't know much about sound but I thought ...

From my point of view, the second movie of Mardock Scramble attempts to give more depth to the first movie as well as go into further details as far as the characters are concerned.
Story:
This story consists mainly of two parts, in my opinion, one part focuses on what happens after the battle Boiled, where Balot encounters herself at some type of scientific/medical experimentation center and the other part focuses on a mission that takes place in a casino.
I really enjoyed the story, it was intriguing and exciting, however, I believe that it is rather confusing as I still don't understand why Shell would want ...

Asura (Anime) add
Story:
Asura tells the story of a boy who lives in Japan during a period of famine, around the 15th century. It’s a movie with many philosophical morals and strong character development. Why makes humans different from animals? Why do humans need love? Many questions about our existence are explained through an indirect way in this show.
In the beginning we are presented with a horrific situation where people go insane due to their hunger. I such circumstances a boy is born. Years pass and the boy doesn’t behave any different from a wild predator, literally. It isn’t until his meeting with a Buddhist monk ...

Shinreigari (Anime) add
Story:
At first when I was watching Ghost Hound I thought that the story would be mainly about Komori Taro's traumas but as I started watching more and more of it I realized that it was actually more about the adventures of the three boys. Specifically, there isn't a concrete issue that they deal with, there are a lot of problems and disturbing situations that this teenagers must experience. The show is mysterious until the end. There are a lot of things left unexplained, but maybe it is better for humans not to know certain things or at least I believe that this might be the ...

Stroy:
This show didn't really have any plot or story. It all revolves around a psychic teacher who causes various problems to the school and makes everything seem much more funny and adventurous than normal. On the other side I believe that it was really interesting some episodes seems to have a deeper meaning than what it seemed. However, this show is to be watched when someone feels like having a good time laughing a bit. Also, there were some episodes that dealt with the life
Art:
The art wasn't really interesting. I have actually seen similar types of art in anime that have just 5 ...

Story:
In this anime the story is based on three different short traditional folklore stories from Japan. They are mostly horror stories, however I would say the the last two ones were dealt more with mythical phenomenons and were not so scary. Specifically, it is not as scary as Japanese horror movies are a days. However it is kind of psychological and revolves around issues that have some kind of melancholy into them. It is definitely a very good way to learn about Japanese literature while getting entertained.
Art:
The art is not manga art actually. It resembles ukiyo-e, which is a type of traditional Japanese ...

Story:
The story was interesting and intriguing especially the first episodes. It's interesting to see how the relationships between the girls in Lillian develop and their bonds become stronger. Also their innocent and platonic relationships are interesting as well as mysterious or even confusing. The most interesting part was the main story which was about Yumi and Sachiko and their relationship. Actually the first season it mostly about how Yumi feels really insecure as Sachiko's petit soeur and about how Sachiko feels confused with Yumi's behavior. Generally, after the first part and some few other short stories, the series revolve around the event of St.Valentine's day. ...

Mokke (Anime) add
Story:
The plot of this story may seem simple at first, but it's development is actually pretty interesting. Usually each episode focueses in one of the sisters (Chizuru or Mizuki) and how the deal with a supernatural creature they encounter (or supernatural event). The story was more funny and childish when Mizuki was the protagonist of the episode and more dramatic and serious when the protagonist was Chizuru. Personally, I found Chizuru's episodes more deep because they transmited her feelings of anxiousness, confusing and most importantly loneliness because of being able to see ghosts. Moreover the story is education as it shows elements about Japanese Literature ...
