Yes! I have! It was one of my first few manhwas. AND I TOTALLY ADORED IT. Noah and Raeliana's chemistry was sooo freaking cool in it. Totally a power couple, even more so after Noah discovered the truth about raeli. Ngl I just loved how he had unwavering trust in raeli 😭😭

Y'know, that chapter about hwayeongs past. I read that arc while I was in my uni's library, and I was totally sobbing in public lmao 😭😭
It was sooo beautifully written. And it gave so much depth to hwayeongs character. Made her more than just a "loud and energetic girl*

I also watched the anime at about the same time. And was also drawn to the art style AND the concept of a ghost being the main character. It was totally cute lmao. And while the anime wasn't as serious as I imagined it to be, it was still totally good and enjoyable. I loved it a lot.
And although I haven't read the manga, I do believe that hanako would most likely move on after he has fulfilled all of his regrets in the living world. THATS EXACTLY WHAT MAKES ME LIKE THE SHOW. Like the entire story of the show is making ghosts move on, solving regrets etc. So at the end of the story, shouldn't it be hanako's turn too? So that basically just means he's a small ghost child who's just trying to live a life he couldn't live 😭😭
That's exactly why I adore the story so much.
Idk how the manga turns out and stuff, and ngl I'm just a sucker for tragic stories like this. Which make it obvious that the ending isn't gonna be happy, but it's so well written that you can't help but be attached to the characters regardless.

And the manga art is soooo much more better than the anime like wtf?? 😭

SAME! Whenever I start something new, I always ponder so long over how i'll have to wait for the weekly release and stuff. That's also one of the reasons why I haven't still read most of the famous manhwas yet. I just want them to finish before I start them to enjoy them to the fullest.

Beware the villainess was one of my first few manhwas which I loved a lot, but the weekly release and continuous hiatus made it sad for me, I really wanted to recommend you completed stuff, because I believe the manhwa/manga loses its charm on weekly release.
My favorite characters from BTV was definitely Melissa and Yona, I loved their sassy personalities so much. The ML and the art is just chefs kiss 🛐🛐

Crown princess scandal is the secret Santa gift I got myself lmao, I'm really enjoying it ngl. I had to binge the story right before my exam because I couldn't get enough of it. XD

I see. Haven't heard of those 2 before. I did a quick read and it seems to have correlation to its parent story - 1963 Astro Boy & 1989 Akuma. Interesting.

I'm kinda hesitating to spell it out tbh haha (don't want the entire angry fanbase come crashing down on my head). Anyway, it's Elfen Lied and Evangelion. I HAD plans to watch these long ago, but after I did some quick read on these two it changed my mind. I read that Elfen Lied's plot involves multiple scenes on torturing children & animal (I can't stand it). For the original Evangelion, I read that the final 2 eps were sort of rushed/unfinished due to production issue, so it was very unsatisfying for many viewers, which lead to the making of a final movie by director Anno. I believed he didn't wanna do it at first but the backlash was so severe to the point he even received death threats. And this movie in question had a very disturbing scene just minutes into the film. I know Evangelion fans are very expressive & defensive about it. Anyway, after reading all these, I didn't feel like watching it, but now many years later I thought maybe it's finally time for me to at least give it a try.

Tbh I'm not sure why I didn't plan to watch Cowboy Bebop till now. Maybe initially I thought it was a mecha anime. Anyway, just saw a very cute furry buddy among its cast. Now I'm double interested. (￣∇￣)

I see. Hmm. Not sure about best, but in terms of rising popularity for 2022/23 series, Oshi no Ko, Bocchi the Rock, Chainsaw Man, and Cyberpunk are some not on your list. (yup did a quick stalking don't mind me hehe). Maybe might interest you.

I actually wrote a long paragraphs on my profile (for my own amusement mostly - I doubt anyone would read it haha). Will be spending my last month of the year to finish up any specials, ona, ova, movie, etc that I missed out for anime that I've watched previously. You know.. sort of like to conclude the year by picking up any leftover pieces hehe.. (´ω｀*)

THEN TO START OF 2024! - will be watching a couple popular series to start things off! But.. I'll be honest.. some of it I'm not exactly excited hehe... Ah dang it I got Saiki wrong! In terms of comedy I can't think of anything that I truly enjoy after Gintama & Kaguya-sama (which we both loved). Maybe Nichijou (gdi you watched it too hahah!). I guess after that for me is probably Gokushufudou (manga version, not the anime). ^^

Mushishi is amazing. The mysterious vibe in historical Edo era setting paired with supernatural elements turns out like a perfect episodic bedtime stories - intriguing yet relaxing. Natsume is good, but some part might be too drama focused for me when I was expecting it to be an Iyashikei series (one of those you didn't get what you expect scenario - don't mind me hahah). Oh I have both Mokke & Buddy Daddies on my PTW. You recommending will definitely boost them up my list even higher. Will let you know how I felt after I watched Frieren or any of the other 2! (*´ω｀*)

Took me almost a year to watch Rakugo so I don't think it's too soon! (/ε＼*)
It is indeed a very unique series. A historical drama that emphasize on one of Japanese theatrical cultures, rakugou, as its main plot. Unfortunately series like these tend to overlooked and have lower popularity as compared to other more popular shounen anime out there. I'm glad I gave it a try.

Oh you commented at the perfect timing ! I just very recently completed S1 & S2 of Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. This was the other recommendation that you gave me (think I told you I watched ID Invaded already). So that's 2 out of 2 done ! I really enjoy this one ! Whenever the characters perform rakugo it always somehow managed to captivate my attention. Just expression & words. Strange really. I don't dislike anime with lots of dialogues so this was nice. Think I enjoy S1 more than S2. Overall a very fufilling watch so arigato!
