This work is very good, I highly recommend it.

Her style is pure adventure, taking One Piece as an example, where the main characters travel from island to island, and in each one they have great challenges, Ken Deshita is the same style, the two MCs travel from city to city, with great challenges each one, and the plot is worked out as they go adventuring.

Both the MC (sword) and the FMC (user) are charismatic.

The FMC is that kind of character that speaks little but manages to win you over, having moments that she is cute, ruthless, responsible, childish, etc.

We will see her go through many ... events, and grow a lot as the story goes on.

She will guide the story forward, in fact, we can even consider her the real protagonist, because she is the one who will interact with that world, decide the actions they will take, and so on.

The MC is what he is, a sword, he will serve more as moral support, advisor, friend, father, and obviously in fights, because it is her weapon.

The interaction of the two is really great to see, due to the circumstances, the MC means a lot to FMC, it is noticeable the friendship, and parental relationship between the two. As more the work goes on, the more it captivates you, it got to the point that I was rooting for FMC as if she were my own daughter.

Speaking now of the fights, as far as I can remember, the gigantic majority are pretty complicated fights.

Although the MC is a very strong sword, and the FMC improves in combat quickly, in most of the fights you feel tension and excitement.

Although both MCs are strong, the enemies are equally, or even stronger than them.

So there is no need to worry about overpowering, you can be sure that the MCs will suffer greatly in 90% of the fights.

For those who want to know a little more about the plot, using One Piece again as an example, where Luffy and the crew is after the big goal, here it is the same style.

The FMC has a goal they want to achieve, and they will go after it, and in between they will have other plots, like the mysteries behind the MC, antagonists, and so on.

If you like this style of One Piece, and pure adventure works in general, Ken Deshita is a must read.

The work has a manga and a novel, as well as a spin-off.

I read the novel by preference, because it is the original material, much more detailed in information than the manga version.

But those who prefer to read the manga, I recommend it too, even though it loses in details, like every adaptation of a novel, the artwork is very good, much better than the novel.

I believe this is all I have to say, the work is gigantic, and even after reading more than 600 chapters, I still don't see it nearing its end.

For those who like a good adventure, a great work with a good story to follow, you can watch it without fear.

It has a well-built world, which the author makes a point of never forgetting characters or things he had presented before.

This was a nice surprise. I thought for sure this was just gonna be something like a ecchi manga that you would forget about in a couple day's . But i am gladly mistaken.

The story is nicely paced. While one of the MC's ( The sword) Is powerful and can do his own. His power is only able to shine when Fran ( 2nd MC) Is wielding him. This is a nice change. While yes the MC is powerful he isn't game breaking unless someone is around to use him.

Fran is also really adorable. If i remember she is 14 or around ... that age. She has an awesome personality

Both of these two together and they kind of are an adorable team. I like imagining what this would be like in Anime form. But that isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

First couple chapters aren't that great. It takes the story tell around chapter 11 or 12 for the story to really start picking up.

Some of the story arcs we've seen aren't all that great. The Lych story arc i found to be boring and nothing of interest happens. We did have Fran attack a sentient Skeleton and i feel they missed a good story arc.

They could've has the Sentient Skeleton be some girl that was cursed and now has to live her live away from the populace eyes. Have the entire thing be pretty much about Fran going about finding a way to cure her curse.

I also feel that the Barbra story arc wasn't that great. It felt like it dragged on for too long.

The Ulmut story arc i really liked. The Dungeon Master is awesome and i'v been wanting Fran to have a parental figure. I like imaging that once Fran is done with her quest that she will end up spending the rest of her days with either the Dungeon Master or Amanda and have them as her adoptive parents

Kiara story arc i find kind of interesting. I kind of wish they'd find a potion or something and give it to her and have the potion give Kiara the body she has when she was still 15 or so

We do have characters like Amanda that i really like and the Dungeon Master. Both of them are probably my favorite characters the story has offered to date. I wish we got more time with them. I honestly see both Amanda and the Dungeon Master as the best role models for Fran and the best parental figures

The story is centered around a guy who has been reincarnated as a sword, and is now carried around by the adventurer Fran.

The story by itself has been fun to read. It features many of the aspects common to other Isekai novels, like a game-like leveling system with skills and everything. The story also visits interesting places and they, the sword and Fran, aren't just aimlessly wandering around and actually have a goal in mind. Which is always nice.

Below I'm explaining the reasons for my rating in a bit more detail. So some very mild spoilers ahead.

The character gaining new skills and growing stronger is ... a fun way to show a character's progress/development in my opinion. However, it happens quite often that the writer seemingly forgets about things he's written before like; Fran gains a new skill, next volume the skill is gone. Fran gains new specialized equipment, next volume the equipment's function is forgotten and replaced with something new that does the same thing.
Something else that bothers me is that, while Fran does grow stronger, everyone else seemingly does so too. In volume 1 there are only a couple of strong people she encounters, a couple of volumes later the hero-rank adventures literally start popping out of the bushes.

All in all, it's a fun story to read, just don't mind the smaller details.
