Both the MCs live in their own world and have a helpful male best friend who looks scary but is actually nice. They are both funny, but Kuzumi-kun, Kuuki Yometemasu ka? has more romance, while Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge is almost purely comedy. However, Kuzumi-kun, Kuuki Yometemasu ka? is depicted from the POV of a popular girl who likes Kuzumi. 

What happens when a popular girl is suddenly interested in the strangest boy in her class? The answer is found in both of these manga. With a similar concept, both series follow the lives of the boy and the girl, and how their relationships builds up, both in a comedic way. 

When I first read Kuzumi-kun, I thought of My Neighbor Seki. Both center on girls who are extremely obsessed with their male classmate who quietly goes about his business. My Neighbor Seki is more episodic where Seki is doing a different activity at his desk from setting up dominoes to playing with shogi pieces or action figures, while Rumi narrates what is going on. Rumi is constantly distracted and ultimately gets in trouble with the teacher at the end of the chapter. The series emphasizes comedy first, with romance being relegated to a part when one of her classmates thinks the two are in a secret relationship. With Kuzumi-kun, the main girl Sakura finds herself constantly concerned with what Kuzumi is doing, whether it is just vacantly staring into space or watching birds or hanging out with his best friend. She too gets distracted in class and gets in trouble with the teacher, although many of her activities are also outside the classroom. Sakura has a major crush on Kuzumi yet constantly and publically denies her interest in that tsundere manner, while attracting the affections of plenty of guys. Sakura also has girl friends, one of whom is very well aware of her crush while the other is not so much. There is also a rival guy who likes Sakura but struggles to figure out what makes her so attracted to Kuzumi, and there are parts where Kuzumi has silently shown kindness to his friend and other characters. There is also an underlying theme of looking beyond the rumors as characters get to know each other. Although the manga is presented like a full-page yonkoma style with a punch line for every page, the pages have a common storyline. Will the guys ever talk? Will the girls ever make progress? Regardless, it makes for enjoyable comedy and romance. read more 

It's funny how turned those ala shoujo manga moments into something hilarious. 

Both have a quiet main. They have partners who make efforts to talk to the other and we see their relationships grow over time 

They are both about a a very popular girl who falls in love with the male protagonist because of how nonchalent they are towards their social status. However, the main difference is most likely the attitude that both female protagonists take on. While Sakura has a more extrovert personality as she chases after the boy with her whole heart & tries to make conversation, Suiren is just as introvert as her male partner.  

Both main male MCs are considered as weirdos and only a few classmates interact with them. But the truth is, they are interesting people. The female MCs see this side of them that their classmates couldn't see. They also think that romance with the main guy would be difficult. Both series are also in the same genres: shounen, comedy and romance.  

If you like a romance story with characters discovering their feelings and learning about love and affection. Then I suggest reading this manga. 

Both of these are really wholesome manga's and both Male Protagonists of these manga's are really similar 

Love-comedy in a school, pretty funny and lighthearted. 

Both female leads are in love with someone who doesn't seem to care about romance. 

Same story: popular and cute girl ends falling for a no-good looking MC who ignores her. However, even if both are cute histories, Kuzumi is a 4-koma like gag manga while Kuroiwa is a more serious love comedy story. 

Both are 4-Koma with similar art styles and characters. Both of the male MC love interests have abnormal obsessions and are rather slow/dense, but will occasionally have cool/serious moments. The female MCs are on the more popular side and seem to attract almost everyone other than the main guy. Although they constantly try to deny it, the female MCs have very obvious crushes on the male MCs. 

When there is always a model student you want to confessed with and ended up a failure... one must not underestimate their beauty cause you're way out of her league.. Since this manga focus much more than revenge itself for getting some attention... but had a similarities of an image which had a same concept where a fateful encounter between the two happens...  

-Each MC is troubled by certain boy in class. -Both stories are driven by an exceptionally funny cast instead of being limited to the main couple -The stories cherish their characters and give everyone some depth (ex. instead of designating one as "the foil" or "the mean rival" or "the comedic relief")
