What happens when a popular girl is suddenly interested in the strangest boy in her class? The answer is found in both of these manga. With a similar concept, both series follow the lives of the boy and the girl, and how their relationships builds up, both in a comedic way.
Similarities: school setting, romance (main plot), pure and innocent, light-hearted, both male MCs quiet and not open with their thoughts and emotions, both female MCs their polar opposite.
Similar themes, mainly beautiful girl falling for the quiet weird guy in class. They both have a cute artstyle and characters and they are very fun to read.
The endings are also both satisfying and leave you with the feeling of happiness and sadness, being happy that you read it while feeling sad that it ended.

Both are romantic comedies with serious moments sprinkled throughout. Kuzumi and Kawayanagi are similar characters, being the quiet, kind of oblivious male lead. Jigokumeguri and Erika are less similar, but they're both the main ones pursuing a relationship with the male lead. Both end well, and are fun reads!:)
