I came in with high hopes sense i like the author's other work.

I was happy to see that my hopes were not in vain as this is a pretty funny story.

So far only two chapters have been translated sadly, But i am enjoying it,

The character designs are nice and the art is the same as the authors other work too. I really like the female MC's design and i like that the Male MC doesn't look all generic. I believe this is the first time a Male is a main character in any of the author's work. Might have something to do ... with her ( I think it's a girl) Not knowing how to right males without falling into cliche character motivations. But i say she did a nice job.

I recommend anyone to check it out. It's a pretty fun story so far.

This manga is crazy! It has made be burst into a laugh in every chapter. I'm not fudanshi or yuri-ota, so this manga made me understand, what's fujoshi and yuri-ota like.

There's a lots of funny things in this manga. But the point of this story is about understanding other people. In this case, fujoshi and yuri-ota. Yoshida and Hoshina have a different gender, character, and backgrounds so it make any awkwardness and funny things when and after they switching bodies. Funny, crazy, and surely enjoyable.

It also has a cute and beautiful artstyle and any fanservices. Sometimes it looks cringe for me, but it's okay. It's ... recommend.

Okay, the only reason I decided to read this was the author. Ajichi is basically one of the yuri goddesses of our time. Her official works and doujinshi border on the divine. "Failed Princesses" is only a feeble reminder of this person's genius. I'm not very sure if I'm correct, but this one is either one of the first ones she has released officially or even the first one.

Either way, I believe this entire manga can be easily misread by a newcomer, but for someone well-versed in the world of GL and BL, this would be an insanely funny read—like, really funny. The author, very ... poignantly and wittily, makes fun of disintegrating the foundations of plot-building in both the GL and BL genres. This manga's premise is only an excuse to actually dissect those genres in a very, very entertaining way.

I admit I'm not a very big expert on BL, but I'm an avid fan of GL, and I can certify that all the commentary you get here is very, very much on point. My own acquaintance with BL also proves that what you see here is seriously good.

At the end of the day, I don't think that this work could speak to someone who isn't invested in GL or BL, but if you are invested in either of those genres, it is a must-read. It's funny, witty, poignantly correct, and, after all, a good laugh. Ajichi's signature meta-humor gets center stage here, which is very rare compared to her other works. You can get only a few specks of it in Failed Princesses or Dear My Teacher, but here, it undeniably shines. Her wit is so inspiring and enticing that you just can't decide if you should laugh or cry.

So, the bottom line is: if you're not into GL or BL, you can easily skip this, but I guess, with that premise, you won't be interested in reading something with such a title in the first place. If you like either or both, it is indeed a must-read. I say this as someone who has read over a thousand of yuri works. It totally deserves your attention if you're as deranged as yours truly.

This slice-of-life comedy about a body swap into a girl's body offers a fun, lighthearted twist that may appeal most to fans of fujoshi and yuri genres. While it leans heavily on comedic situations, it lacks romantic depth, so those seeking a romance-focused plot may not find it as fulfilling. The story’s unique premise and humor keep it engaging, though some moments feel predictable.
The art style enhances the comedic tone and matches the story’s playful vibe well. The characters, though enjoyable, could use more dimension, while they react to the bizarre scenarios humorously, their personalities are a bit flat, with strengths and flaws not fully ... developed.

OreFujo turned out much funnier than I expected at first glance. Like many body-swap stories, OreFujo is about learning to try to understand others as well as not just writing off others' passions, especially when they are so close to your own. But, it puts a fun spin on the body-swap trope through its fujoshi and yuri-ota main characters. Most chapters got a couple of good laughs out of me through humor related to this conundrum; the main characters (mainly Yoshida) suddenly find themselves as more than just spectators in the relationships they covet so passionately, yet struggle with this newfound agency since they still ... retain their prior internal gender identity.

The main two characters are over the top in their emotion and devotion to BL/yuri, but their passion sells the humor, even if their actions are somewhat unrealistic. And, as someone who likes yuri, I understand where they're coming from, and their struggles are entirely relatable. I thought the character art was pretty good, and the mangaka snuck in several references to other manga through their art.

All that being said, the main plot meanders greatly, the body-swap conundrum is not taken all that seriously, and while I think the ending is satisfying for a comedy, do not go in expecting anything too deep. Aside from the yaoi/yuri-loving mindset of the main characters, there is nothing particularly interesting it adds to the body-swap genre. If you're interested, I'd recommend reading a chapter or two, and if you don't find anything funny, then don't read any further.
