An isekai manga set in a fantasy-medieval time period about an old dragon who is reborn as a human in his next life. Despite the positive attention that this manga series has received, I feel like the plot suffers from pacing issues and uninspired dialogue. This of course affects the development - or lack thereof - of the characters as well, which remain stereotypical and shallow at this point in the manga, in my opinion. Other than the slightly better than average art style for this genre, I don't think this manga has been executed well thus far and brings nothing new to the table.

I love reading isekai manga and am usually going through piles of obscure stories for the sake of "quick" entertainment. So, I stumbled upon this story the other day and decided to give a quick read but this story really disappointed me.
The concept of dragon reincarnating as a human and gaining a new experience,perspective on the species is interesting but the execution is dull. The human/dragon has no '"unique personality" as oppose to other isekai protagonists and the story is not interesting. Frankly speaking, it's boring af.
The story is going forward and introducing new characters,expanding world but there is no connection with the viewers. I ... mean, the world is just about same as any other fantasy world and the major problem of demon tribe is nothing new so I can't invested in the story. The character of lamia was the reason why I could complete at least vol. 1 but I can't see myself going any further than this.
The art is the worst aspect, with plain character design,identifying 2 female characters when their upper-body is only shown is impossible, the environment isn't new and the art feels rough.I barely enjoyed this series and wouldn't recommend it to any isekai/fantasy "fans".

Yep, this is another one of your run of the mill OP protagonist gets reincarnated stories, and a below average one at that, if thats's all you are looking for. Doran is your stereotypical OP but emotionally inept protag. Where the series actually hooked me was Selina's character and her story. I honestly consider her to be the true MC, she is the one who faces the real trials and slowly grows more and more powerful and emotionally strong. She starts off as a seemingly annoying and emotionally dependant and possessive of Doran, but grows and gains power and becomes one of my favorite characters ... honestly. Througout the Manga she faces discrimination and hate but learns to help and support those closest to her.

The art is a mixed bag, it often feels a little "chunky"(sorta similar to DragonMaid Manga), and the bigger fight scenes tend to get a little disorienting, but general panels throughout the series are charming to look at, and any panel with Selina in it makes me happy lol.

The manga may have a bit of a slower start, though it has been a few years since I read the first few volumes... At the moment though I am still exited for every new chapter release so overall it has my recommendation
