I love reading isekai manga and am usually going through piles of obscure stories for the sake of "quick" entertainment. So, I stumbled upon this story the other day and decided to give a quick read but this story really disappointed me.
The concept of dragon reincarnating as a human and gaining a new experience, perspective on the species is interesting but the execution is dull. The human/dragon has no '"unique personality" as oppose to other isekai protagonists and the story is not interesting. Frankly speaking, it's boring af.
The story is going forward and introducing new characters, expanding world but there is no connection with the viewers. I
...
mean, the world is just about same as any other fantasy world and the major problem of demon tribe is nothing new so I can't invested in the story. The character of lamia was the reason why I could complete at least vol. 1 but I can't see myself going any further than this.
The art is the worst aspect, with plain character design, identifying 2 female characters when their upper-body is only shown is impossible, the environment isn't new and the art feels rough.I barely enjoyed this series and wouldn't recommend it to any isekai/fantasy "fans".

Psycho-Pass(S1) is often regarded as one of the great shows to come out in this decade. There were two major factors behind it's success. First it's interesting portrayal of a future where AI's have the ability to monitor a person's emotion creating the Sibyl System which controls the humanity(in Japan ofcourse) and the interesting characters notably 3 major ones; Makishima Shouko , Kougami Shinya and Tsunemori Akane. While Makishima Shouko was the Fan-favorite and Tsunemori Akane was the series' main focus, Kougami Shinya's Character wasn't as acclaimed as the two because of his "generic" personality and the motivation of revenge. His Character arc ended at
...
the end of S1 when he finally got his revenge but did it really gave him his salvation? Psycho-Pass Movie firstly showed him after the events of S1 where we found the answer : no.
And this movie serves as his character progression arc where he, someone who's just wandering off without any destination cause he already got his revenge(his purpose in life), finds a new goal.
THE ACTUAL REVIEW: (With Minor Spoilers)
Story : 8/10.
This movie can be considered as a stand-alone movie as despite being a Psycho-Pass movie, neither the Sibyl system nor any major characters from S2 and previous Psycho-Pass SS movies are present, aside from Hanashiro Frederica who was introduced as a shady character in the previous movie.
This story expands the world of Psycho-Pass, a post-apocalyptic world where no form of long-term-peace has been achieved for decades showing us viewers the importance of Sibyl system in this world.
Following Kougami's aimless journey this story is more of a aim-provider for the character who has already completed his goal(revenge). A revenge-story thread is introduced between two characters that Kougami meets in his journey where his character not only teaches the consequences of revenge while he also learns that there's more to life than just a singular goal of revenge.
Art : 6/10.
The art was good with unique character designs and depiction of mountainous region of himalayas but animation wasn't as impressive for a Psycho-Pass movie.
Sound : 7/10.
Good sound tracks, not hampering the experience of the movie.
Character : 9/10.
Kougami is already a good character and him finding a way past revenge is the best part in the movie.
Hanashiro Frederica while being shown as a "good" person still retained a sense of mystery throughout the movie.
Tenjin is a lovable girl and the character aside from Kougami to have a major development. She's a sad character who has witnessed the horrifying nature of humans as a child and served not only as a student of Kougami but was the reason behind his character progression.
Garcia, the main antagonist of this movie is a simple character. He creates a fire then extinguishes it as a fire fighter. He's a peace-seeker. He knows the importance of peace and would take any measures to achieve peace. Thus his conflict with Tenjin is created due to a fire. And he does complete his goal making him the sole evil in the society who has to be removed.
Enjoyment : 10/10
I enjoyed every part of the movie. Kougami and (imaginary)Makishima Shouko's conversation were the best parts along with the character of Selim, the kindest man in the story.
FINAL VERDICT: 8/10
Being a Psycho-Pass and Kougami Shinya's fan this movie was my cup of tea and boy isn't it a delicious one. This movie is just below 70 min. so, expecting a compex story isn't a wise thought, just enjoy the character of Kougami and the story of Tenjin and get hyped for Psycho-Pass S3.

Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.1 - Tsumi to Bachi serves as a direct sequel to Psycho-Pass II having it's primary focus on Inspector Mika Shimotsuki and Enforcer Ginoza.
ACTUAL REVIEW :
Story : 6/10.
This story can be best described as a S2 story writing without any "disturbance" in plot by own allies.
Story Summary :(Potential Spoilers)
An unusual incident occurs - The case seems deeper than it is in surface - No direct cooperation from Sibyl system - introduction to the shady enemy hideout - threads become lose one after another as story progresses - A cool action scene - Dio-Jotaro moment - Villains dead - Case
...
not closed - Oh It was ....'s plan all along.
Now I'm happy that the story writing did improve compared to S2 but paled in comparison to S1.
Art : 7/10.
A consistent art-animation as previous seasons. Never Doubt Production I.G.
Sound : 8/10.
Really good sound tracks, As long as they don't hamper the watching experience they don't bother me.
Character : 6/10.
The only major character with any form of significant development/progression is Inspector Mika Shimotsuki. Now, this is an hour long movie so expecting all major characters(who've already had a significant character moments in previous seasons and movies) is a bit too much. Inspector Mika Shimotsuki did grow-up on me,,just by a lil. bit and watching her in a scene wasn't as enraging as watching S2 and Psycho-Pass Movie and her progression as a character was a major highlight for me.
On the Other hand, the villains/antagonists of this movie were just bad, no form of evil presence was felt while watching them. Copy-paste a bad-character archeotype with a weird hiearchy and you'd get the antagonists of this movie.
Enjoyment : 8/10.
I love Psycho-Pass series. Regardless of the villains or plot, my attention is mainly toward Sibyl System and it's effect on the MCs and vice versa. Considering this movie as a prequel to S3, it served as a good watch.
Final Vedict : 7/10
This is just an hour long movie focusing on a case and it is fairly interesting as a stand-alone movie. And yeah, this story is a cannon.
If you just hate Inspector Mika Shimotsuki then you might not like this as the primary focus is on her. But watching this isn't a loss if you like Psycho-Pass series as it'll make easier to understand her character who's relevant in S3.

I consider Shoujo Genre to be the hardest to enjoy genre in all of anime and manga. The major reason being that constructing a GOOD female lead is pretty hard and the Troupe of "Princess" is not a fit for a story focusing on coming-of-age romance with drama sprinkled all over it. While the surrounding and set-up are made more realistic,it is the characters who ruin such shows or at least make it boring and annoying at times. Unlike shonen, this genre doesn't have much sub-genres that fit it well that's why it is very very less popular then it's counterpart. Ao Haru Ride is
...
one of the very few Shoujo genre stories which has almost ticked every box that would make watching stories like this a great watch.
THE ACTUAL REVIEW : With minor spoilers.
Art/Sound - 8/10. I'm not someone who critiques art style and sound design much. The art is very very pleasing to the eyes especially at emotional moments,it packs a punch and chops onions near the eyes of the viewers. The sound is pretty good too, there is no misplacement of tracks and it doesn't lessen the impact of story and character's emotions.
Story : 9/10. The best part of this series is it's story flow which is 50% due to unknown but realistic situations and 50% due to the decisions made by the characters. The story encapsulates the teenage psyche nearly perfectly in the provided setup and the author has used every stereotypes that fit in the story without making any "forcible" character decisions. The lessons that the characters learn after each incident can also be understood by the viewers. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that this story has the Soul of the Shoujo genre and is one of the best that this genre can offer. Now,now, I am not saying that this stories has no flaws but that the flaws can be covered by the better moments present throughout the story.
Characters. 9/10. The female lead is probably the simplest character of the story. She's not a "Princess" and she represents the psyche of the teenage girl at her age, not very mature but not immature either. Her love for the male lead is a genuine love that a girl her age would have, not completely childish nor too sexual. Her fascination is pretty relatable even to the person of opposite gender, like me. At moments, especially at the later half she suffers the THIRD WHEEL SYNDROME at a degree she shouldn't be. But it's not much bothersome.
The male lead is pretty good and has the most emotional changes in the story. Well, due to his circumstances the decisions he makes throughout the story is the most human-like which doesn't make him the typical 2-D Shoujo male models. so, he stands out to be a likable character.
The other characters like Shuuko represent a young teen who is pretty new to the matters of love and develops feelings for people who provide unconditional love to them, so her crush on the sensei is something that some young teens have. Yuuri is the "Princess" character of the story and acts as a third wheel to relationship of the MC's but considering her transition to adolescence and innocence to matter of mutual love, her character is not a forced presence in the story. And she learns a lesson at the end of the story completing her character arc.
The male supporting guy is a pretty good and understandable character. The two friends of female lead at the start of the story represent people who are left in mediocrity even in the real life and the Brother of male lead is a good brother character.
Enjoyment : 10/10. This is probably the only Shoujo/Drama anime that I've enjoyed to much extent without being annoyed by the characters. I'll re-watch it every now and then.
FINAL VERDICT: This story is short, sweet and enjoyable. The Shoujo troupes don't hurt this story much and make it one of the best school life romantic drama of this decade. Highly recommended to everyone who want to watch romance story without too much unnecessary DRAMA. My score for this series is 8.85/10.

I stumbled upon this series couple of years ago while I was new to anime other than Shounen and Death Note. I enjoyed this series due to it's simplicity as well as the fact that it was pretty new to me. From then on I watched the spin-off which was airing at the time. The series held a place in my heart as an enjoyable watch. But fast forward to this year when the sequel was announced I decided to re-watch the series and critique it per the "taste" I've developed in the mean-time, Reading many shitty isekai manga and the roller-coaster of SAO as
...
well as watching other popular fantasy series being my experience in series like this.
THE ACTUAL REVIEW: With minor spoilers
Story : 6/10. While I like the premise of this fantasy series, there is a reason why people mistake it as an isekai series. The feeling of something new is lacking in this story, yeah I know all anime are not original but good stories can be separated easily from each other despite having many shared aspects which DanMachi does not have. And lastly WTF is with the title? Bell is the wimpy-est person in this entire story and he picks up on chicks, When did/does this happen ???
Art : 7/10. Nothing much, Character models like nearly all light novel adaptations of past 5 years, mediocre art but not bad enugh to be distracting.
Sound : 7/10. Nothing bad but nothing great or memorable. OP is good.
Characters : 7/10. Bell is copy paste Kirito but the wimpy-est version, he's pretty enjoyable to watch and his growth is not problematic except for final battle. Do I have to explain?? The loli supporter is annoying at her introduction arc but becomes tolerable after that. The red-hair bro is a bro character. Other characters have very less screen-time or are shown as mysterious. Ais Wallenstein was my favorite character cause she is cute and not annoying unlike everyone's favorite Hestia whom I'd like to call "THIRSTY LOLI OPPAI WITH USELESS SYNDROME". I'm sure that Aqua from konosuba was the parody character for character like this Boob-laced annoying loli. The best example of this is in episode 2-3 when Bell and Boob-lace were chased by monsters, while Bell was getting thrashed she does nothing( she holds the f**cking Hephastus Sword and never thinks of giving it to Bell when his dagger snaps) and when Bell sends her off to safety she realizes that, runs back like she's returning a dollar change to him and only gives the sword 10 minutes after that moment. Hestia SUCKS!!!!.
Enjoyment : 8/10.I enjoyed this series in the first watch but the recent watch was boring and painful at sometimes due to a particular popular character.
FINAL VERDICT : This series is a mediocre one but definitely enjoyable and appealing to newer anime fans. Two years ago this series would've been rated 9/10 but that's pretty high considering my review in various aspects.
So I'll rate it 7.1/10.
