Ok I'm not really experienced with CGDCT, but because it's about camping I mainly came to see the beautiful scenery of Japan's mountains and night sky.

I liked all the characters, they're cute (well obviously), and they all have good personalities. There is a quick development in terms of how the characters start to share a strong bond of friendship. It's to the point of doubting whether there is development or not. I mean, this manga is basically just a cycle of moe, food and camping...

There are some funny scenes too, which adds to the enjoyment of reading this manga. We also get to know ... about camping, like what you need and things like that. This manga actually convinced me of going camping. Also, we get to know some interesting facts about Japan's geography, and of course their beauty too.

The art is alright, but not the best in my opinion. I hope the anime adaptation does better on that. Overall, I'd give this an 8. Thanks for reading my review.

Art
Although the art in manga can be considered as relatively inferior to the anime its still fulfils the requirements to be good enough for the atmosphere of this manga. The sceneries, the locations & the information about them are all surprisingly accurate.

Sound
As good as the anime's ost was, regrettably manga being consisted of pages or pixels cannot generate a really good sound. Its recommended to listen to yuru camp ost while reading this manga.

Characters
The characters preety much remain the same and thats good. One does not require jojo-level character development in a slice ... of life/iyashikei manga about camping. The various characters and their different behaviour/viewpoints might be relatable to many.

Plot
Revolving around 2 of the best concepts, food & travellimg the plot is perfect for a camping manga. Its good enough to make its reader relax and take a break from all their accumulated stress.
Adding a bit of personal remark, yuru camp takes, combines & utilizes the best parts of shokugeki no soma (cooking food) & gin no saji (not being afraid of doing new things)

Overall
Read it or Regret it.
Although it would be 10 times better if you could watch the anime.

It´s basically a story about cute girls going camping, building friendship etc. The art is nice (according to me nicer than in the anime), there are a lot of funny moments and since its short, you can easily read in all at once. What was lacking was some kind of character development, but since the story is about girl finding new friends I guess this was achieved; but don´t expect anything more.
And interesting fact: I´ve read this manga on manganelo.com. I don´t know about other pages, but the version on this side has always 1-2 pages extra from the translator, where are very putative ... info and photos about the localities, onsens, camping sites etc mentioned in the story. That was definitely interesting!
For me, solid 7/10.

From pitching her tent to gathering firewood, she has always done everything by herself, and has no plans of leaving her little solitary world. However, what starts off as one of Rin's usual camping sessions somehow ends up as a surprise get-together for two when the lost Nadeshiko Kagamihara is forced to take refuge at her campsite. Originally intending to see the picturesque view of Mount Fuji for herself, ... Nadeshiko's plans are disrupted when she ends up falling asleep partway to her destination. Alone and with no other choice, she seeks help from the only other person nearby. Despite their hasty introductions, the two girls nevertheless enjoy the chilly night together, eating ramen and conversing while the campfire keeps them warm. this manga is one of those “kawai girls doing kawai things” mangas ( reference from the youtuber: Ilutv ). It’s a manga made for people who love or interested on moe and camping. But to me, i am more of a lover of it simplicity detailed drawing that caught me to keep reading the manga. Moe and camping are genre that was into it years ago but not so much now, now I don’t really interest in camping. That’s doesn’t that I hate it, just I am not into it as before. And moe is ok, I don’t really hate or like it. It’s just a style.

Although the manga’s art style is moe, the landscape is really well done. I like the method the used to draw the landscapes with such simplicity, but also genuine. It feels like the mangaka used a photo reference to make the panels more interesting because of the panel’s point of view. Also it give the background or landscape more realism to the drawing and they used screentones of different values to give a sense of remoteness. Screentones is a technique for applying textures and shades to drawings, used as an alternative to hatching.

the characters designs with that moe style and different personalities that makes it more easy to identify the characters or at least being remember by their aspect or way they think and react. Rin Shima, the quiet girl with more mature of the four protagonist. Nadeshiko Kagamihara, the knucklehead and a camping lover. Chiaki Oogaki, the troll and childish of all of them. And Aoi Inuyama, the least remarkable of all four. The manga gives me the feeling of K-On because of how moe is it, also, the art style is used for the protagonist is the same as any moe style, cute designs, act cute, not all of them but meh. They have good character design, but they doesn't have that much of character development. Well. What can i say? It's a slice of life. Probably they will act the same way in the beginning and at the end of the manga.

As far as I have read. It is an entertaining manga that teach you how to camp properly and funny because of the character’s interactions.
