This a very interesting manhwa. It starts with MC called Hari who is nice, friendly, a good actress and so on. There is a guy she has a crush on, and a large part of her memories are missing. Everything becomes confused as someone tries to kidnap her, although she doesn´t know who or why. The guy who cares for her gives her a bodyguard, and this is where the interesting part begins. Hari becomes confused by her feelings for two men, not to mention her slowly recurring memories and her alter-ego that can completely over her body. It is clear now that manhwa is ... coming to end, and I can def recommend it. You can read it as a solo story, or if you read Dark Heaven, you can enjoy this as a Gale sequel (although he is displayed as a madman in DH, here you can see quite clearly why he has such a disturbing character). All characters are good, I liked them, even the side characters, and there are some pretty good psychological aspects of the story (childhood trauma, PSTD, suppressed memories etc etc). Moreover, it seems the story will have a happy ending. The art is nice, sometimes funny, but you can also expect a great deal of blood and violence due to Gale. From me, 8/10 and looking forward to the ending.

As a Slovak myself (Poland is my neighbouring country), I naturally wanted to read story with Polish protagonists. Although the wordbuilding of Koutetsu no Lucja is quite intriguing - steam knights etc., personally I found this story rather average. From storytelling to characters to drawings, nothing is extraordinary and there is a chance you find yourself bored. There are some pieces of Polish culture (names, food) but that´s it. Although the art is fitting to the story, the characters are quite flat, even MC is generic, at least so far. I would appreciate if the author wrote more about how the artificial limbs are attached ... to the body, what about nerves - does it hurt or you can put it on/off as many times as you will? But, there is still chance the story will explain this further, and bring it to nice end.
I read only half of the story so far because chapters are translated very slowly, so I can´t quite predict the end. So far, I would rate it 5/10.

NGNL: Practical War Game is - compared to other NGNL novels - considerably better and easier to understand. It is basically set in the same time as Vol 6 - aka Great War. I must say that even though I absolutely adore the story of Riku and Schuwi, this volume is mainly about characters that were only briefly mentioned in the movie and here they can get a much more place. Specifically, I would emphasize the chapters about Elven and Flügel society. There are 6 chapters in total, some dedicated to humorous situations between Sora/Shiro/Steph; and some taken more seriously like the deep of the ... Kurami/Fiel relationship and the strategic maneuvers of Think Nirvalen and Nina Clive against Dwarf Lóni Drauvnir who sadly wasn´t even mentioned in the movie despite playing quite an important role in the War) The fact that nudity is largely reduced in this novel also helps to its quality.
All in all, one of the better novels and a must-read from any real NGNL fan.

Three novels, each containing 5 chapters featuring Demon Slayer characters written by Yajima Aya and illustrated by Gotouge.
Most of the stories are not very long, one read it in about 30 minutes each. All Pillars make a bigger or smaller appearance, but the majority of stories are dedicated to Tanjirou and co. Although many stories are comical, some of them are unexpectedly deep and sad, and significantly contribute to the development of said character. The novels usually contain side stories or stories from the past of the characters. Most of the chapters contain also 1-2 illustrations.

In the historical and superstitious village called "Land", the birth of the twins is considered a bad omen. Due to this, the father of the twins is forced to bring one of them to the woods and leave it there. The story is told from the view of the remaining twin, 5-year old An, as she looks around the world she lives in and wonders where are all 50-years old villagers disappearing.
The art of the story is consistent, clean, and quite simple. It reminded me a lot of Yoshida's Banana Fish and Yasha.
The story has a promising idea and full of mystery elements. ... The characters are probably the weakest part of the manga, as their behavior is confusing sometimes and I feel a lack of their greater development. But at this point in time it is hard to predict, how far will the story continue, so I hope this will change in the future chapters.
For me, solid 8/10 and looking forward to continuation.

Eve no Nemuri can be called also "Yasha: New Generation". The main heroes are children of the characters from Yasha manga, so it is recommended to read that one first. Also, there are some recurring characters from Banana Fish manga. The story focuses on Sei´s daughter Arisa that starts to realize that she, too, is not an ordinary human just like her father was. The situation gets complicated even more when Sei´s clone emerges, produced solely for killing people. Arisa is determined to stop him, what is basically also the plot of the manga.
The manga is still being translated so my review is only ... preliminary, but as we are reaching the closure I can tell it´s a good story. The art is very nice, the characters are interesting enough and for me, it´s a solid 7/10. If you liked Yasha, you should give a try to this manga, too.

Yasha is a mysterious story with criminal plot and biological background. It involves two brothers who are unaware of each other´s existence for the majority of their lives. Once the secret around their birth is discovered, the story starts to gain depth and drama elements. The psychology of characters is well described and the whole story is full of plot twists that are adding to the mystery built-up.
The art is outstanding, very nice and clean. If you are a fan of Banana Fish you might be interested in a fact that some characters from BF appear also in this manga in supportive role. The ... story will really hook you up, give it a chance! For me solid 9/10.

This anime is about little pinguin visiting Kyoto and its sightseeings. Although it only looked cute at the first glance, there are episodes when you can actually learn something about Kyouto, or Kyoto history. Besides shrines and ponds also statues, gods or typical Kyoto food is introduced in a interesting, but simply way, so everyone can enjoy it.
The art is great, very pleasurable to the eyes and Chitose-chan is exactly the type of pet you wished to see on your own eyes :) Despite the stories being simple, the overall enjoyment is high mainly due to cuteness of main heroine. Give it a try!

What, no review to Renai Ruby whatsoever? I guess I´ll make one then.
This manga is a collection of two short stories. In the first one, the focus is given on a coincidental meeting of two classmates from highschool. Suzuki, being tormented by Natsuo for long 3 years, is purposely abusing older Natsuo´s trust and plans to break up with him after their one-month anniversary. But as the time goes, will he still be able to do that..?
Second story focuses on relationship of two colleagues. Shifting between friends and lovers, due to the past experiences one of them is unable to open up and ... deepen his trust towards the other. But Shuuna is not giving up easily and slowly, but surely uses his charm and humour to persuade the latter one.
Art was outstanding, but what I liked the most were characters. All four were very different and despite the shortness of the story, they kind of grew-up on me. Not to mention that both stories have a lot of comedy elements within them. They are just sweet, romantic and any fan of BL will surely like them. For me, it´s solid 9/10.

Mahou Shoujo Spec-Ops Asuka is story about highschooler Asuka who is trying to fit in everyday life after taking part in military before. She is strongly against joining military again, but as the story progresses she realizes she doesn´t have much of a choice.

The art is outstanding, very clean and clear, so the reader knows immediately what is going on. As a bonus, every volume begins with color pages.

Characters are strong individuals with interesting personalities. The story focuses not only on Asuka, but also on other magical girls and characters. It is easy to choose your favourite and also the most repulsive character.

As for enjoyment ... and overal feelings I give Asuka 8/10, mostly for the reasons I can´t write here since I would spoil the story. The story itself might be a little complicated if one is not familiar with Japan military services. But that´s not degrading its value.

My review is preliminary, but as soon as I get to the new chapters in EN, I might add further details. But I recommend it to everyone who likes for example Madoka and dark stories involving magic.
