Recommendations

Both are dark fairy tale themed stories, as well as also both from being from the same mangaka and also lots of edgy stuff in it as well too.

Both feature a motley crew of unlikely heroes who fight man-made monstrosities and insane yet charismatic villains. The main characters have shaded pasts and uneasy partnerships that are tested as the stories progress. Both have lovely, dark and detailed art.

Both focus around zombie like beings and have some moments of gore and horror and suspense in it as well too.

Beauty and the Beast of Paradise Lost and Grand Guignol Orchestra are two dark fantasy series created by Kaori Yuki, who presents both stories with the kind of elegance that medieval Europe may provide alongside her beautiful art style. Common elements include dangerous fantasy zombies, which lose either their minds and/or faces and must be burned for the safety of humanity, as well as traumatic childhoods of characters soon thrown into adventures alongside interesting and rather entertaining adult characters.

Same Mangaka (author/artist). Though Godchild is darker than Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan, both provide strong characters, interesting storylines and beautiful artwork.
