These manga feature a similar concept (Japanese restaurant with access to another world) and even got anime adaptations at the same time. If you like one, you'll like the other.

Both series scratch a similar itch, showing great food comforting people.

They're both about eating in a medieval world.

Both have isekai and food themes.

They both involve political and economic issues in medieval-esque worlds, and both involve introducing food from earth to the people of the aforementioned worlds. Each subject brought up within the stories is explored in detail, and each story has charming characters and an overall heartwarming feeling.

Similarities: - Isekai - Cooking Izakaya is a fav of mine. If you're looking for a strong focused on food w/ isekai setup definitely Izakaya.

Gentle cooking manga for isekai adventurers.

If the part you are interested in is the food, not the isekai, Tamako Teishoku is a good follow up to Isekai Izakaya. Low stakes problems are fixed with common Japanese food recipes.

If you're looking for isekai and food then both have such similarities. The difference will be that Nobu is pub in another world with more variety of food and Tondemo is about a summoned salary man making food to feed his monster companions while traveling.

Both are series that strongly incorporate the concept of "culture shock" (to a positive effect). While Izakaya's domain is pretty much entirely food-based (i.e., introducing contemporary Japanese cuisine to a vaguely ancient Roman setting), Thermae Romae covers a wide variety of things (although primarily about architecture).
