Youjo senki is pure action and I lked that, nothing deep, only violence. Kaiji is one of the best deathgames ever with a beautiful soundtrack. Sousei is my first manga and one of the first anime I watched therefore it accompanied me from its release to his end, all along from teenage years to adulthood. Tokyo Ghoul rocks, and everytime I read it again it's just as good as the first time. Yofukashi no uta is pretty cool, emotional fights, a good mood, good comedy, depressed people going around in the night, yeah. And Vinland saga is peak, just peak, season 1 is peak, I think that s2 is peak too but many got bored in s2.
Cool to know that we have a similar taste, I saw that you have few friends on MAL and I know none of them, may I ask how did you find my profile?
I mean, I was farming numbers and justifying my tastes to a random circlejerk of elitists instead of enjoying what I liked xD
I need to go back and read that manga. It was some of the most diabetes-inducing stuff I've ever read.
I love Yugame, and I liked how the "greedy pfp" looked in the big picture on my profile page, but it looked kinda shitty in all the smaller pictures.
Thx for the friend request.
PD: I think that your unique favorite order it´s pretty dope, speaks more about yourself than bold and common numbers that elitist like to use, also, you use your profile in sorta a diary(?), awesome too
Not sure where to fit it in on my favorite reading list, but it belongs on there.
The anime is pretty much perfect, but I stopped watching it pretty early, since I just enjoyed the manga experience more (in addition to the manga obviously being way further ahead)
For some other series, like Dandadan, Kaguya-sama, or Interspecies Reviewers, I actually prefer the anime, but there aren't many series like that. Most of my favorite anime simply come from me not having read the source material. For example, Honzuki no Gekokujou would be in my favorite anime list, except that I read the light novel and liked it way more.
Oshi no Ko is a unique case for me, since I actually like it and the manga in different ways. There are certain parts in both the anime and the manga that I like the execution better than in the other, and I think you actually have to witness both for the full experience.
Otherwise, some characters like Frieren, Akane Kurokawa, or Roxy Migurdia would be there.
1) I really like it, almost enough to put it in my favorites, purely on its own merits, and
2) it represents my love of vtubers for the past 4 years, and it encapsulates the things I like about vtubing.
I can't wait to be able to read it.
(It's free, btw. You can read it in Japanese here: https://pocket.shonenmagazine.com/episode/2550689798515762383)
Honestly, it's hard to compare the "favoriteness level" of all these different stories, especially because I have forgotten many of the feelings I had when reading many of them, even if I haven't forgotten the things I read.
Anyways, if you're (somehow) reading this, you should read (atleast) the first 102 chapters of the SSS-class Revival Hunter manhwa. It's so good.
