Both focus on life or death styled stories and also shares grim reaper symbolism as well too and a striking artstyle as well too.

both of these series are by the same author and are centered around a very mentally ill female protagonist that have a thirst for wanton murder and violence

Yeah! For anyone who loves grotesque western influenced manga, these two are gems. Both focus on feisty visuals where the art holds the story just as much as the dialogue.

Both Abe Youichi and Atsushi Kaneko is are relentlessly following their own paths rather than recreating something already done. What’s striking about these two works are how multileveled they are. One can read them just as much as stories about loneliness and human nature, as for the action.

Manga for mature audiences (not just due to explicity, but due to style of the story) about a quirky contract killer who might look goofy but is also extremely effective. Not a comedy.

Kaneko Atsushi are following the footsteps of Mastumoto Taiyou here with this art driven story inspired just as much from western super hero comics as manga. If Deathco is as deep as Tekkon Kinkreet is yet to be seen.

Both are highly violent, beautiful and stylistic, seemingly inspired by European and American comics.

Exhilarating fast-paced action pieces governed by mafia Both are heavily influenced by western comics and make prominent use of black and white reminiscent of Sin City They also feature a kick ass main female protagonist
