Encounter youkai from both the demons perspective to humans. Ushio to Tora and Nurarihyon no Mago are both tales of the supernatural. In both manga, you'll see familiar faces from Japan's many folklore's of youkai. If you like one, you'll definitely like the other.

Tokyo Ravens and Ushio to Tora follows a story in a modern setting with supernatural elements. The main male protagonist from both series has a special talent that draws other unnatural beings towards them. Throughout both series, we see that have a connection with certain past events and characters. There is also subtle romance developments in the story. Expect plenty of action and plot twists with a bit of revenge theme (more so in Ushio Tora) as the story progresses.

Ushio to Tora and Gachirin ni Kirisaku are supernatural stories that takes place in a modern setting. There is a lot of violence present in both series as we learn the grim reality of supernatural beings that exists in their world. If you like stories in which a boy teams up with a long-sealed vicious demon to fight evil, this may be the right recommendation for you. However, since Gedara is a one-shot this means that the story is shorter and more contained, leaving the reader with a taste of how the narrative could develop.

Ushio to Tora and Kyoukai no Rinne settles with a modern setting fantasy. The main protagonist from both series has an ability to see supernatural beings. They use their gifts to help others while trying to avoid trouble themselves. Both series has good amount of characterization and relationship dynamics as their story progresses. Ushio to Tora is also more noticeable for is more complicated plot later on while Kyoukai no Rinne follows more of a SOL style of storytelling.

To be honest, I think these two manga's are similar. Although the story plots are different, I believe Ushio to Tora has a similar feeling, and leaves a similar impression, as Doubutsu no Kuni. (Also there is the kid/"cat" pair).

Packaged with demons, apparitions, and other supernatural forces, both Sengoku Youko and Ushio to Tora is a good choice for anyone interested in a series about some of these elements. Both series' main male protagonist are also known for their strong wills and desire to help others. There is plenty of drama and action offered with mysterious origins regarding some of the most prominent characters as well.

The main protagonist in both manga are partners with a demon (Oniwakamaru in Oniwakamaru and Tora in Ushio & Tora) to fight against evil powerful Yokai. Both manga focuses on the relationship between the main protagonist and their demon partner as they grow to like each other as their story progresses. Both manga have plenty of action and are pretty violent at times (Even though Oniwakamaru has way more blood and gore). If you like one, you will enjoy the other.

If you like Takahashi's "Inu Yasha" manga you may like Ushio and Tora! U&T is a masterpiece of fantasy manga. contains cruel demons , sacred weapons, and powerful warriors armed with spiritual powers. the battles are really bestial and bloody. InuYasha was heavily inspired by this work, especially in its initial part.

Ao no Exorcist and Ushio to Tora are classic battle shounens with an emphasis on story development. Both series' main male protagonist has a lot of potential in power. And throughout their story, they face powerful adversaries while discovering more about their past. Both series' main antagonist has a dark history that has connections with the MC as well. There is also emphasis on a lot of demons and apparitions that appears throughout their story.
