I noticed that there didn't seem to be any reviews for this particular sequel. Being the huge fan of this series that I am, I decided to take it upon myself to go ahead make one. With that in mind, I'll go right into it.

Story: 10
In order to read and understand this, you have to have read the first Rozen Maiden series and understand that this series is still ongoing. This story is a direct continuation of the first series. While it may seem a bit different and confusing at first, it actually picks up right where the first left off. As for the quality ... of the story itself, it's amazing. At least, that's my personal opinion. Like the first series, the sequel uses a combination of drama, complicated supernatural elements, comedy, tragedy, and just a little bit of romance to weave together a really deep, heavy, but overall great story. However, some may find this story to be confusing. Most of the confusion would probably come from the supernatural side. The concept of the N-Field would be the best example. While the characters do explain a lot of it, you have to be paying very close attention. Along with that, there are also signs of subtle foreshadowing and references to earlier events. If you don't pay close attention there's a good chance you'll miss something important.

I personally think that the art for this series is amazing.The characters and their expressions are really well-drawn. The different aspects of the world and the different places of the N-Field that they travel to are also beautifully drawn. I can actually see a visible and positive art-style improvement between early in the first series and this one.

Characters: 10
One of the things this manga heavily emphasizes and one of my favorite aspects of it is the character development. I won't spoil too much but the main protagonist is a good example of some heavy character development. However, he's not the only one. Every single character, that's right, ALL of them, go through some sort of development. This includes the new characters they introduce and some that were even considered BAD before (*cough* Suigintou *cough*). Although there may be some exceptions, I feel like once you've read through the series and have experienced the characters' stories, there's not too much that you can hate about them.

Enjoyment: 10
As far as enjoyment goes, if you haven't already figured it out, I LOVE this manga. There really are a lot of things to like about Rozen Maiden. However, if I had to pick a couple of things that I particularly liked about this series they would be its uniqueness and depth. The uniqueness is pretty self-explanatory. Let's be honest here, you can't really find a series like this one anywhere else. In that regard, I consider it to be a gold nugget. As for the depth of the series, it had a huge impact on me and really made me think at times. When I was reading this sequel, I didn't think there would be too much different from the first series. I was wrong. Without spoiling too much I'll say that there were still moments that made me laugh out loud and some that REALLY made me think deeply.

Overall, the sequel really delivered. I found myself enjoying it more and more as it went on. While it kept things fresh, there weren't any obvious or bad changes from the first series. I really think that the sequel was done perfectly and I keep up with it even now. If you've read the first half but are skeptical of the second, don't be. It's definitely worth the read. If you haven't read ANY of the series, then what are you waiting for? Go read the first one now!
