I want to start by saying that I read in the official media of the work, a Light Novel.
Yes, it's another isekai pattern book with a story that doesn't stray too far from the norm. A protagonist who gets stuck in an RPG world. That later the world becomes real. But Kenja no Deshi manages to be really fun and pleasant. I love reading this and I also really like the characters. It's very nice to read.
Maybe you don't think the future anime is too much. But I hope you give this relaxed and fun fantasy adventure a chance. The story is good but standard.

Before I start this review I would like to say that I have only read the English web novel version, which at the time of writing only has about 84 chapters or just under six books translated.
Anyone that reads light novels on a regular basis would know that they vary widely in quality. Some make the reader wonder how exactly they reached such a low point to be reading the trash in front of them while others expand the mind with valuable life lessons.
