Manga: Cowa!
Both made my the legendary Akira Toriyama, they still have different and unique but recognisable to each other art styles. Both have some friends going on an adventure to obtain something, both very short 1 volume series. Similar vibe and comedy.

Manga: One Piece
Both are amazing playful adventures with a diverse cast of very charming characters that ultimately have to face tyranical rulers to help the people.

Manga: Monster Soul
Both involve a conflict between humans and monsters (or demons, in the case of Sandland), and are quite comedic in tone. A good share of action, and a idealistic ending.

Manga: Kajika
Both of these stories share the same value. They have about the same 'global' story, and they're characters share alot of things. And let it be, that both of these series are done by the same author.
