A good example of how yandere horror stories should be done, in my opinion.

The story starts off in a very ecchi-ish manner, with bits of Kanade's craziness displayed here and there. This goes on for the first half of the manga, after which the story gets dark. There is no release in the build-up of suspense (as compared to something like Higurashi which has comedy here and there), and there is a very gradual descent into psychological horror with each chapter, indicating good pace. 8/10.

The art is great. It's very clean, and if you like boobs and girls masturbating you'll love this. On the ... SFW side, the characters are well-drawn, nothing to complain about. 9/10.

The characters aren't unbelievable and they complement the plot. The MC is the focus and the other characters are more or less in the background, and the MC's inner thoughts and feelings are well-developed. 9/10.

Overall, if you like yanderes, boobs, and psychological horror, you will like this. 9/10.

Delusional Love is one of those stories that just can't quite figure out what it wants to be.

It starts out an ecchi, almost borderline H, story about a beautiful honors student trying her best to seduce her new homeroom teacher. It's sexy and perverted and right when you think that something's about to happen...

The manga turns into a bloody suspense/thriller story.

Both parts of the story are well done. The artwork, in particular, is tremendous: the gore and violence are very well drawn in the second half, as are the breasts and titillation in the first half. But the two parts of ... the story don't mesh well, leading to reader whiplash.

Moreover, first half doesn't go far enough down the infidelity path to be a "Fatal Attraction"-style morality tale. Also, he gives her a tragic backstory to make her a sympathetic character, which clashes with the repeated attempts to make her a frighteningly crazy figure.

In short, this manga is sadly less than the sum of its parts. It's not bad, if you like thrillers, but I can't really recommend it to anyone.

Ehh it's ok I guess, the art's pretty good and the characters really are interesting. When reading this Manga you end up feeling so sorry for the main guy. But it was ok.

So the main guy has a pretty good life in the beginning he's got a beautiful wife and daughter. Lives in a comfortable home and just got a job as a teacher. He starts his job and tries to get to know all the kids and he see that the main girl is kinda quiet and lonely. So he thinks "hey why not get to know her a little better" because ... he wants to get along with all the kids in his class.

The main girl mistakes the main guy's kindness as love and starts to harassing him. She tries to kill her best friend because the best friend was getting too close to, attacks the wife, kidnaps the daughter, and a bunch of other crazy stuff.

This girl is really crazy. She knows she's attractive so she tries to use her looks to get with the guy. He resists almost all her advances because he's a teacher and married. (except this one time he got drunk at her place during a party and the two made out) She's got secret photos of him, sniffs his clothes, basically a psycho.

So the guy is obviously aware of her feelings and tries to push her away but she thinks all the mean stuff he says is just another "trial of love" or whatever. Tough times for the main guy you know? I was kinda expecting that she would kidnap and assault the guy but that didn't happen thankfully.

Those who want to read it, know that there is some nudity and sexually provocative moments (but not in a hot way, in a "Oh that's nasty" way, unless you like weird stuff which this may not bother you)
