If you wanted to watch this after reading the manga...oh boy.
Many of the elements that made the manga great are missing from this anime adaptation. There is a lack of display of raw emotion, the only preserved aspect is the story, and the most glaringly missing element is the introspective dialogue. In the manga, the mangaka lets the story develop within the dialogue in such an eloquent manner that all the changes, including the massive character development, that happen don't seem so abrupt or absurd. Without the introspection it would've been easy for the story to end up looking ludicrous, and that's exactly what has
...
happened with the anime.
Also, if you wanted to watch the anime to see the beautiful manga titties come to life, you're gonna be horrified to know that there is basically no nudity or explicit sex scenes.
So why am I still giving this a 7? Because if you haven't read the manga you'll be able to enjoy this, and I'm trying to rate on a standalone basis. The art is good and helps in setting up the mood of each scene. The characters are a little less fleshed out than in the manga but are still able to not make the story seem boring. The OP and ED are amazing, but to give the anime a more serious tone this anime has a lot of the scenes running with practically no sound with the exception of the characters talking, which I enjoyed. Could've been an issue with low budget but hey, it works.
In all, not the best or the worst. Good to watch if you've got nothing better to watch or want to watch something light.

TL;DR: This manga was so fucking enjoyable that all the nights I spent downing beers and losing myself in the story cured my depression.
Story: At the very core, we have a love triangle going on between Natsuo, our protagonist, Hina, step-sister #1, and Rui, step-sister #2. Natsuo has access to his new, hot step-sisters after his dad remarried, except things are very screwed up now because a) Natsuo had been in love with Hina, who was his sensei in high school, for a while and b) Natsuo had a one night stand with Rui because they both wanted to lose their virginity and see what
...
the big deal was.
From this setup the story progresses in arcs with introduction of other supporting characters, interesting subplots and unexpected character developments. Each arc is actually pretty interesting and contributes to the overall plot, though there are some rare filler elements. Some arcs are heavy with content, some light, and each chapter ends on some kind of hook too. To top it off the pacing was just right 99% of the time.
Note: I am a huge fan of forbidden love, and somehow this manga got it just right. If you absolutely abhor that kinda stuff you might not enjoy this to the level that I did.
Art: nothing short of perfection. The ecchi scenes are incredibly well-drawn. Rui Tachibana's naked body is the definition of perfection. Everything about the art complements the story so well. 10/10.
Characters: Honestly if it wasn't for the supporting characters I think this manga would've gone the way of Eromanga-sensei or something. There is enough character development with literally almost every character, enough to keep you in a state of analysis of them or to find yourself relating to them. Everyone has strengths, flaws, and they feel raw and real. They go well with the story, are capable of triggering a wide range of emotions in you. 10/10.
Enjoyment: As I mentioned in my TL;DR this manga is so fucking fun to read that it cured my depression and I'm only partially kidding. Spotted Cow + this manga = my night made. I'm a sucker for romance not only did each romantic moment in this manga makes me melt, it made me end my waifu search - Rui Tachibana, will you marry me?
Even if the premise of the story doesn't really interest you I strongly suggest you give it a try. I can't wait for the anime to come out. 10/10.
Ideally I'd give this a 9.5. It's not a 10 because the manga can VERY OCCASIONALLY seem draggy.

A good example of how yandere horror stories should be done, in my opinion.
The story starts off in a very ecchi-ish manner, with bits of Kanade's craziness displayed here and there. This goes on for the first half of the manga, after which the story gets dark. There is no release in the build-up of suspense (as compared to something like Higurashi which has comedy here and there), and there is a very gradual descent into psychological horror with each chapter, indicating good pace. 8/10.
The art is great. It's very clean, and if you like boobs and girls masturbating you'll love this. On the
...
SFW side, the characters are well-drawn, nothing to complain about. 9/10.
The characters aren't unbelievable and they complement the plot. The MC is the focus and the other characters are more or less in the background, and the MC's inner thoughts and feelings are well-developed. 9/10.
Overall, if you like yanderes, boobs, and psychological horror, you will like this. 9/10.
