Almost identical premises and plot twists; Sekai Oni is clearly influenced by Bokurano. Similar teenage angst, victory conditions, and deathmatches against enemies from other worlds for the sake of survival. Bokurano has philosophy, a stronger mystery element, slower pacing and a depressive atmosphere whereas Sekai Oni has relentless plot developments and wild emotions. Of course, in general Sekai Oni doesn't compare in terms of readability, but it might appeal more to a subset of younger readers because of its action.

It has the same premise where people get sent into a 'room' of sorts and have to defeat certain entities.

Both Mc's Detest Their Life... And possess almost identical abilities. Both manga's sub plot revolves around the ''world ending '' The Ones to Save it, And The Ones To End it They also deal with psychological Aspects Of Each Character. Most Of Them Have Tragic Backgrounds..and have had to go through Their Fair Share of Struggles.. While the story can be dark at times. IB's Artstyle is prettier and Helps Lift The Mood but at the same time blends with the atmosphere, While Seki's artstyle has a Cruel feeling to it

Both are about characters being transported to another world to fight different creatures and go through different scenarios. Sekai Oni is much darker than Psyren, though.

Both manga feature an abused/tormented child as a primary character, and both have a similar comedic/dramatic duality to them, in the way they approach their premise. (i.e. touching the boundary of being edgy)

For some reason I can't help but feel the heroines in both manga are similar. Sekai Oni is mixed with a lot of fantasy and has a focus on a young girl becoming mentally unstable while Dead Tube has a focus on making video's for views. Both contain a lot of violence.

Taking place in a fantasy-like realm, Tsubasa Chronicle and Sekai Oni bring out their world fiction at its best with the overly of its plot. The main characters gets themselves involved with events that blur between the lines of fiction and reality. Among other things, mystery is a strong factor with many cryptic events that connects to the premise. Sekai Oni has more psychological tropes as well as horror while Tsubasa Chronicle gives off an adventure feel.

In both mangas, a girl is able to utilize some sort of power in order to protect the world from some sort of upcoming disaster. Both girls also are mistreated by their family, and sexually used by an older figure. Both girls also defeat people (monsters in Sekai Oni) in order to do something that will prevent something. However, using the power needed will take something important from them: their own life or those around them. They do both have differences, as in Sekai Oni, disaster has already started happening, and that she works with many others, whereas in Mahou Shoujo Site, disaster has not  read more

Along with many others, the main character gains an immense power. Each characters has a dark past and they all want to find out as much as they can about the power and defend themselves against the many threats to their lives. Both manga are intense psychological horror and contain a lot of killing.

Although both series follow a different set of premise, their world fantasy and colorful cast of characters has some resemblance. Indeed, both series takes on a variety of fantasy elements as the main characters indulge on memorable experiences. There is also a psychological path that follows both series' storyline as the main characters discover startling revelations.
