Almost identical premises and plot twists; Sekai Oni is clearly influenced by Bokurano. Similar teenage angst, victory conditions, and deathmatches against enemies from other worlds for the sake of survival.
Bokurano has philosophy, a stronger mystery element, slower pacing and a depressive atmosphere whereas Sekai Oni has relentless plot developments and wild emotions. Of course, in general Sekai Oni doesn't compare in terms of readability, but it might appeal more to a subset of younger readers because of its action.
Sekai Oni also has many children contestants that are fighting.
The Story is about a group of people.
The group fights something super strong, which threatens the world.
The enemies are high, but the surrounding people can't see them.
When they kill an enemy, the person who fought dies or a reserved container dies.

Sekai Oni is pretty much just Bokurano but with a bit more of a bite to it both in its story and characters.
