Preliminary Spoiler

Sooo... THIS IS COMPLETE MADNESS, and I wont spoil anything to you, you have to read this manga. If you watched the anime and didnt like it pleeeeease give this a second chance; if you somehow liked the anime or though it was ok you'll like this a lot better; and if you dindt watch the anime just DONT DO IT and read the manga instead (TRUST ME ON THIS ONE).

I read this after watching the anime hopping for another instance of that "so bad its good" kinda feel, but I ended up disappointed. The manga turned out being unironically good (very solid in fact). ...

This author has a thing for mahou shoujos and extremelly disgusting characters. I found Mahou Shoujo Site after reading Mahou Shoujo of the End. The similarities: a lot of gore, a twisted vision of mahou shoujos and one extremely disgusting character.

While MSotE relies a lot of on its very complicated plot and gore scenes (being a trully horror manga), MSSis all about the characters and their developments. The plot (at least so far) is a lot simplier and less dramatic and the characters are overall way more likeable. There is also way less gore. However, its very enigmatic as well. Why are they given the ...

*SPOILER WARNING*

Note that I'll use [] to put something that could be an spoiler, though I won't reveal major plot parts.

From the same dude who did Mahou Shoujo of the End (a godawful story), here comes Mahou Shoujo Site, a somewhat linked manga.
This is actually a big improvement after that shitty manga. It's still bad, though.

███STORY ███

Mahou Shoujo Site is like that kid from your class who tries hard to be edgy, but fails miserably. It constantly introduces shocking elements to make you think how dark and depressing everything is, but it barely manages to impress you when those resources have already been used somewhere ...

**spoiler warning**

The idea/concept is really nice, but all the writing is very horrible and overall disgusting.

Who makes the protagonist and love-interest lesbians and fall in love, only 50-100 chapters in to reveal that they are blood-related twins? Are we romanticizing incest now? Is literally everyone just ignoring that they're twin sisters??

Next is the male characters, I gotta be honest there is no positive male character that isnt disgusting at all. Most of the men are all abusive. Every gay male character was seen as a sexual harasser/rapist. And the only black man in the ENTIRE manga is shown to be a pedophilic gay ...

This came out around the same time as Madoka Magica and has a similar premise. Despite Madoka's popularity, I would have to say I prefer Mahou Shoujo Site.
While it didn't impress me much at first, the story becomes more and more intriguing and fleshed-out as it progresses. Many of the characters, which read as tropes initially, are given interesting character development. Aya, for example, appears to be a typical "sad, abused loli," but she proves to be very cunning and capable in the right situation. She still hasn't completely avoided the stereotype (largely because her backstory is too pitiful and dramatic to be believable), but ...

Oh man. How do i even begin in expressing my thoughts regarding this story ? As in like, regarding ALL of it ?

This manga story was picturing itself as the NEXT Puella Magi Madoka Magica but in reality, this manga is the magical girl equivalent of that Nutcracker movie. You know, the one where the rats are Nazis aka Nutcracker The Untold Story/3D.

There are many problems with the story.

1) I know humans are supposed to be evil as not each or every one of us is a perfect saint but is mankind really supposed to be THIS evil ??????

Most of the antagonists or in layman ...

I found Mahou Shoujo Site while reading Mahou Shoujo of the end and honestly it's been almost, if not at times, better than mahou shoujo of the end. The artwork is detailed and the shadow work draws you into the dark world of this series.

The plot isn't as strong as Mahou Shoujo of the end, which has multiple questions looming at once. Mahou Shoujo site keeps it simple with, why were teenage girls given weapons and what does the countdown mean? So in regards to the story, this manga does rely on it to sell itself.

No, where this series really shines is it's ...

I've been reading this manga for years, and it started off with some potential. Over time though, it went downhill.

The manga started off as an edgy magical girl series about Asagiri Aya and and how unfortunate she was. It continues with her journey of learning about the magical stick and learning more about the magical girl site. Once they introduced the tempest, it was interesting, but the interest faded away through out the years because the idea of the tempest was introduced so early in the series, but it wasn't a plot until the end.

The amount of characters through out the series is insane. I ...

This is the review I wish I had read before going all into this manga: DO NOT READ THIS, THIS ISN'T TECHNICALLY A STORY ON ITS OWN.

I will give a full review but firt I'll try to explain what I mean: the ending killed this manga.

(from here on, I do not consider this to be a spolier nor it be formulated as one, but just to play it safe I'll warn for POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
The story hooks you up for 138 chapters only to throw, at the very last one, a "oh actually this is kind of a SEQUEL to another very long and convoluted manga ...

Mahou shoujo site was an anime I saw 3 years ago or so and I liked it.I didn't think of reading the manga ,because I was like ''A second season might be released'' . A month ago or so , I learnt that the anime changed stuff from the manga so I realised that there'll be no season 2 and I decided to read the manga.

The story was nice,it had an interesting premise. For sure it was edgy like REALLY edgy ,but I enjoyed it ,I guess. A thing I kinda didn't like was the conclusion (2 last chapters) ,in which characters from the mangaka's previous ...

In the beginning I wasn't convinced of this manga after reading Mahou shoujo of the end and knowing the style of this mangaka I felt that it would be more of the same even so I decided to give it a try and I don't regret

The way of carrying the story was very good and there were many scenes that I didn't see coming and it really surprised me and that is something that I love

The style of drawing is classic of this mangaka with some really good scenes of Gore besides that I love how he transmits the feelings of the characters on their ...

Straightforward to what this manga offers/doesn't offer:

- MC: The main character is your stereotypical whiny girl that can't do anything by herself and cries instead of taking action. She can't stand seeing others get hurt or hurt anyone herself.

- Story: Similar to the author's other work, it's about Mahou Shoujos, also known as Magical Girls, once again. This time, however, from the viewpoint of the Mahou Shoujos.
Similar to their other work, the story of this one also moves at a fast pace. It doesn't overwhelm with a too complex story and instead focuses on creating opportunities for the characters to shine with what they're ...

I have a strange relationship with "edgy" anime. By edgy I mean, anime full of gore, violence and mature themes like rape, death and abuse. And by "strange relationship" I mean, I don't really like watching them, but I do have a morbid curiosity for it. Anime for me is a form of escapism, I watch it to forget about my shitty life and problems, so I like to watch lighthearted, fun shows, but I can't deny that anime and manga like Mahou Shoujo Site pick my interest by their premise alone.

Still, I rarely watch them to completion, finding their content too much for my ...

Oh god.
This manga really subverted my expectations in the absolute worst way possible.

I read this (or more accurately, tried to read this) because my friend, who usually has pretty good taste, said they liked it a while back and i wanted to give it a shot. So that might be part of the reason for my disappointment, while also being part of the reason I gave it a 2 instead of a 1, cuz id feel bad givin a 1 to smth my friend liked

now that all that bullshits outta tha way we get to the Juicy Stuff. and by juicy i mean pussy juice ...

Came in reading this because if was interesting. But Jesus Christ what the fuck? This is absolutely fucking insane. I don't even really know how to spoil it if I wanted because I was just left confused a lot. Some crazy shit right here. But yeah overall it was pretty good. I think one flaw I have with it though is (Might be spoilers??? Idk, I'll just put it really far down in case)

You need to be read the spin offs and other work in order to truly understand this. I wish I was told that sooner, but I only learned that when I was ...

There is SO much wrong with this manga. I normally don't read things I don't like, but for some reason I thought it would get better the more I read, it SEEMED like it would get better the more I read... I was wrong.

Every character HAS to have a tragic backstory. This goes beyond the concept of the show because ALL the relevant characters have a tragic backstory in some sense. Not only is this a massive overload with the story's massive cast of relevant characters, but it seems to stop there. Next to none of these characters get any meaningful development outside of their ...

Are you looking for a psychological horror where the characters experience hardships that mess with their minds and try to overcome them in a comprehensible way? Do you want a thriller that will leave you at the edge of your seat waiting for the next chapter to begin? Are you looking for a tactful depiction of trauma and a respectful approach to difficult topics? Then go away! This isn't any of these things.
Mahou Shoujo Site is like a train-wreck: it's horrible, bloody and depressing, and you can't understand what you're seeing or believe it's real, but it's so hard to look away. The reason it's ...

I like to see mental health represented in manga as it's something I struggle with, so it's a comfort to see characters that I can relate to on that level. However, any entertainment I got from the series was trampled down by the blatant sexualization of minors. The protagonists are all 14-15 years old and we get shown their panty shots. I mean hell, one of the major points in the plot is about one of the girls' magic panties.

The story is pretty wild, as more and more things keep piling up to make things take crazier and crazier turns. You really have to ...

This manga is just gore, edgy, and cringe content for the sake of being edgy, cringe, and gory. There's nothing that has any value in this manga. It's just...a bunch of death, fights, and not much else. Compared to something like mahou shoujo ikusei keikaku, madoka, or any other dark magical girl show, this one is just so garbage.

The narrative in the beginning shows how shallow the entire manga will end up being. The protagonist is beaten by her brother, bullied, and has suicidal thoughts. She then gains powers and accidentally kills her bullies. Wow, good one. Essentially, there's no characterization in any character, including ...

The concept is awesome. A mysterious-like "Lain" website hands over magic sticks to miserable girls and shit hits the fan. There's gore, cool magic OP powers, interesting arcs, and every chapter keeps you on your toes for the next one.
The only thing I didnt like is its connection to the previous manga Mahou Shoujo Of The End. It feels out of place and unnecessary. You dont need to read that one to understand this, so you better off read an article explaining the connections and save some time.
