After reading through the current chapters I found the series rather enjoyable. Now I’m not a horror person so I honestly cannot say if the series is good if you are looking to be scared. Personally I’ve never found how something I am reading can horrify me.
The main character’s interaction as he tries to solve the mystery of the day with the help of a certain being is actually very interesting. Though not necessarily suspenseful I do find myself wondering “what will happen next” or “what does this mean”, but only to an extent. Other characters sadly aren’t that felshed out, save a few

i really enjoyed this manga for a multitude of reasons
1. the art, while clearly inspired by junji ito, is amazing and adds to the scary elements of the story 2. the mix of horror, comedy and very slight romance is nice and while it is scary the light-heartedness counters it perfectly 3. the story, while usually i like it when stories have consequences e.g someone gets possessed one chapter and is therefore possessed in the next, this manga only does this during arcs and i think it adds to the manga as a whole, while usually (in my opinion) doing that takes away from the story and ... A cute lil' slice-of-life gore manga! Great leisure read, well-crafted but light enough to be enjoyed at your pace.
The story follows the supernatural and violent (and sometimes just violent) accidents of the two main characters and the other hodgepodge side characters of the supernatural club. It is very, very slice of life because the story is a cycle of: nasty stuff happens, our protagonists narrowly escape, and then we accept it, forget it, and move on to the next chapter. The reasons why I rate this so highly are because one, the story is very clean, two, the protagonists are well-developed and, three, the art ... Aug 18, 2021
This series is very good
Art: The art looks very distinctive and good. I think a big part of what makes horror manga scary is how facial expressions are drawn and this manga does that very well. While most of the time the faces look pretty normal when a character is f**kd up then their face is a perfect of mixture of normal looking and over expressive and it has like an uncanny valley effect. Also I like how the background is always really grainy and the sides/top and bottom of panel are much darker than the middle so it gives the feeling of isolation. The gore ... May 2, 2021
This manga more than any other I've read forced me grow attached to each of the characters, even the majorly flawed ones. While this isn't so much the case at the start of the manga, the horror elements are perfectly subverted with light comedy with a lot of thanks to megchans excellent scanlations. Even the side characters are so lovable and characters from past chapters are often brought back for later conflicts, so if you have a soft spot for any of the excellently written side characters, you might be able to see them again.
Although the abrupt ... Aug 24, 2022
Shibito no koe wo kiku ga yoi is a horror of the day/week manga, but unlike most past events are referenced throughout and there are reoccurring side characters some being likeable and some being total scum like the protagonists best friend and the president of the occult club.
Death in this manga seems to be a regular occurrence with a ridiculous amount of people dying from random serial killers, aliens, curses etc. While it can be enjoyable this manga is for the most part braindead horror that sometimes feels forced and often horrific events having no lasting effects on characters with them carrying on with their everyday ... you will hear the voice of the dead it a master take on a horror slice of life. You follow the protagonist living his life as someone who can see dead people powered with disgustingly amazing artwork and funny impulse here and there.
the good thing about this manga is it doesn't take it too seriously and gave an episodically kinda plot though it stems arc to arc. I really like the 3 main cast with each other personality actually complement eachother as they go to some scooby doo kinda plot. the bad thing about the manga is the author lost her charm a few ... it's horror and suspense it has a lot of blood but..........it's very good if you like this type of genre (terror), I really liked the theme that the manga has many different themes that in the end fit together and I liked that the main character is accompanied by his deceased childhood friend who helps the main character a lot, I also liked the shadows that they put on the manga that makes it look much more interesting and terrifying :D
IN CONCLUSION: It is very good both in terms of the story itself of the entire manga and the development of the characters the manga is ... Nov 27, 2017
Junji Ito : BOOTLEG Edition
A poor man's bland rip-off which contains a heavy filler graffiti EDGY tone. Less gore filled with drastic horror flick. Distasteful scenarios were induce set of crappy panels and teen occultic vibes for people with crippling depression. In a nonsense way The series would also consider more than a daily sitcom came from a b-rated low budget shitty movie where pile of corpse where subsided into bloodlust massacre. There's a bit potential, but along it's premises that lack also it's own current factor. Leaning only the story for such a horrible paced. Despite the background as usual, some of the dialogues which narrated where ... |
