Same setting and some crossover characters. Another is almost like a sequel to the original, as it features both Mamiya and Miyoshi as adults.

Both series is about a boy who became a girl and had to deal with difficulties throughout the change.

Both series deal with guy best friends, and suddenly one of them turns into a girl, both are ecchi but boku is more of a comedy where as kanajo is more serious

His best friend from past life is now a girl and his wife from previous life is a guy. only he can remember his past life and he doesn't know who he loves

Both manga have two guy best friends, wherein one day one of them turns into a girl. What ensues are situations where the two of them are tested regarding their feelings for each other. Honestly tho, Kanojo is your regular sexist gender bender BS, while Idol P actually puts forward a beautiful message - "gender doesn't matter"

cute protagonist who finds it difficult to get closer to loves because they are very good friends with their romance and because they don't accept the couple's differences.

Kanojo ni Naru Hi provides a similar setting, focusing more on the mental struggles of relationships in comparison to Ore ga Watahshi's focus on the mental struggles of identity. Nevertheless, it is an interesting read with many similarities that would be as enjoyable as this manga.

Both feature supernatural gender bending and friends who grow and learn to love, however Kanojo ni Haru Hi has much more mature themes and takes place over the course of years.

A couple "gender-bender" romance manga that as a man, I found them "acceptable" to read due to their unique premise. Naru Hi's gender-bender relies on the fundamental premise that some men becomes women permanently if there are too few women, and female MC becomes female in the very beginning. Fox Becomes a Wolf technically does not involve any gender-bending because protagonists swap bodies (as in supernaturally).

Very similar vibe to it although Horimiya has nothing to do with gender benders. Similar art syles. Main girl character in both series remind me of each other (smart & capable). Both male leads are supportive. Horimiya definitely has better story structure and development.

What happens when your best friend has a gender flip? Tensions peak while both try to redefine their changing relationship.

Both feature a world where people's sex changes completely. However in Borderless it's by choice through a medical procedure and in Kanojo ni Naru Hi, it's supernatural and something they can't control.
