Both are inspired by Fist of The North Star. Sakigake!! Otokojuku starts off as a gag manga with it quickly transitioning as a battle series with a very good tournament arc. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is very horror-based but contains the same masculine tone in parts 1-3. If you like one then you'll more than likely enjoy the other.

Both manga have similar artstyles and feature fights won through surprising tricks and strange martial arts.

Both series are about manly delinquents using bizarre martial arts to fight their opponents, both series also start as gag manga but slowly shift their focus into action, following the trend of popular battle shonen at the time

They start out as comedy /parody series but eventually evolve into tournament fighting. Both manga have crazy and violent fights, but the dead characters tend to not stay dead for long and come back via deus ex machina. The main appeal in both is how outrageous some of the fighting techniques are. Overall Kinnikuman is probably the better manga though, mostly because the characters in Sakigake are pretty bland.

At least in my opinion, Tokyo Duel can be considered the spiritual successor to Sakigake!! Otokojuku. Both series are bombastic martial arts stories focusing on grand tournaments and a large cast of fighters who use outlandish weapons in creative ways, but also have a lot of similarities thematically too, as both series explore what it means to fight for your community and the relationships between a fighter and the people who rely on and support them.

Both are works from the same author. Bakudan focuses solely on boxing featuring a Raoh inspired character. Sakigake!! Otokojuku begins as a comedy series but converts into a tournament battle manga which features various characters inspired by Fist of The North Star.

Otokojuku is like parody/homage of the shounen genre, and specially Hokuto no Ken. The characters are over-the-top in terms of hot bloodness, and many aspects are "borrowed" from HnK, like many martial arts styles and even characters.

Both manga are from the same author. Family of Brahman recycles some of the characters and fighting styles featured in Sakiigake!! Otokojuku, but is more travel oriented while Otokojuku is more structured towards a tournament formula. The only real con to Family of Brahman is the lack of an ending due to it being cancelled. The flaws of Sakigake!! Otokojuku include reviving dead characters on a constant basis but both series have enough action that can overlook their cons.

Sakigake!! Otokojuku's plot also centers around "banchou" type students fighting one another. There are similar character designs, fighting locations and styles, though at times Sakigake relies heavily on gag-humor.

-Both have a high school boys as characters and the time period is quite the same as well. -Visual styles and character design are pretty similar . -Both rely on over-the-edge and uber-cool techniques. While Jojo:SC is based on stands, Otokojuku shows off uncanny and impossibly amazing fighting techniques. -Both of them make use of "strategy-based" fights, in which understanding the opponent's flaws is the key to victory.
