Both are short manga with a similar plot: the main character gets to know better a classmate, finding out that they have some serious family issues. These manga share some other similarities and both are quite good, if you like one you will most surely like the other one too.

both are bitter somber stories that have a outcast character and the bond between the 2 leads as well too as they try to make it through school.

These are both romance mangas about one unforgettable summer... Similar vibes with the great romance and friendships, plus the overall mood of middle school summer vacation. Give them both a shot.

A young teenage girl lives in a questionable place without the supervision of any adults, and hides a terrible secret inside her heart. However, while Kamisama is short and emotional, Hwaja is dark and mysterious.

Both are made by the same mangaka. Both have a strong female lead, as well as lovable male lead. A romance between the two main characters. I had a very similar feeling while reading both. If you like one you probably like the other. :)

Both are about youth living through tough situations. They have very different stories, but quite similar vibe. Both feature very poor main characters, though if you would ask me the portrayal of poverty is not the real point of either story. Both are dark stories yet wholesome in their own way and are very short so just read them! It is worth noting that By Spring is about parental(mental) abuse while Kamisama ga Uso wo Tsuku is not, yet despite the topic By Spring's synopsis's focus it is actually quite wholesome in it's message.
