Both of these manga are similar due to the fact that both include the use of games to settle a fight. S.J.M's Mc(s) is more depressing and uses deceit and luck to win, but in a believable way. N.G.N.L Mc(s) is more upbeat/lazy and uses wit and luck to win. Characters in both manga are also choosing to follow through with this "new" life as they both feel that their previous life was just a bore. Anyhow, both of these manga simply provide the reader with the same feeling, thus if you enjoyed one, you will probably enjoy the other 

both manga are about gambling, in kakegurui you bet money and in No Game No Life you bet anything in games. both manga have a main character who is an expert at games and love gambling, though in No Game No Life the main characters never lose and in Kakegurui the main character simply enjoys gambling because of the excitement of the risk. 

Comedies about duo of gamers. In Houkago Play the pair is going out while in No Game No Life they are siblings, but give the nature of NGNL that's not much of a difference. 

-Both MC's are going to another world by their own free will. -The other world they are send to have magic, another races etc.  

Do you ever get a feeling that you don't fit this world? If yes, that means you may be similar to main characters of these two manga. But what if you got opportunity... no - what if you just got thrown right into an unknown magical world? Will you finally be happy in whole new place? 

Two young people, a boy and a girl, find themselves being tested by a supernatural being because they find them interesting. In No Game No Life, the siblings help protect the human race in an alien world by playing games with other races. In HakoMari, the supernatural being is interested in the behaviour of a single boy.  

A lucky protagonist visits a new world full of cute girls and ecchi wonders. 

Both MC's have a cute loli sister with binary personalities.  

Both have extremely calculating main characters, whose wits make them almost overpowered characters. Also magic. 

Both manga combine ecchi, badinage, and a bit of philosophy. 

Ecchi comedies that have amazing art, supernatural tones, and a protagonist with a cute sister. 

Witty dialogue from a cast of characters who aren't very popular. 

all problem settle in game, a master and dog relationship, a male main character who know how to win in a game, if you like all of those then maybe you will like both of this anime.
