Both heavily incorporate strategies to their fights. HXH is (far) darker in overall, but if you like game concept battles in HXH like 2nd phase of Hunter Exam or Dodge Ball in Greed Island, you probably will also enjoy Rank Wars in World Trigger.

With special abilities/technology, Tokyo ESP and World Trigger chronicle the events of characters with such gifts. Although their premises are different, their respective stories explore elements of otherwordly events. Both series' main characters face challenges that puts their lives at risk. Recommended for fans of super power/shounen.

Military organizations and their hierarchies play a big role on both mangas. You may find some similarity between the main characters backstory too.

Both World Trigger and Kaijuu nr.8 have a strong sci-fi-esque ambience, and if you're into that aesthetic, I recommend checking out either series! But that is not the only similarity! In both cases, the city is in constant danger from monsters appearing, and the protagonists are specialized in defending the city. Well, that's a strong similarity! But wait, it gets even stronger: while the standard weapons depend on the individual's abilities and creativity, there are some rare personalized weapons, that require the user's compatibility and that are made from other people's sacrifices. So, if any of those aspects captivated you in one series, you might enjoy  read more

Boku no Hero Academia and World Trigger adapts a typical shounen story involving a cast of characters with supernatural powers. The main protagonist from both series recently discovers their own potential and vows to fight for what they believe in. In retrospect, they have similar personalities and a selfless nature to help others. Throughout both series, they build meaningful connections with other characters and rivalries as well. Recommended for fans of super power-shounen.

If you're looking for some sci-fi, then Houseki no Kuni and World Trigger will definitely inspire you with some of its imaginativity. Both series includes a theme of invasion from outside forces. And from that invasion, there is battles and wars that are fought. Both series has fantasy elements as well as bits of mystery especially in regards with the invaders.

It has a similair vibe with alien like creatures coming to a city and having to create a on the spot army to fight these aliens. Also a wide array of characters.

Shounen-version of this series basically in which the heroes can simulate situations with programmed robot/mech-like monsters called Trion Soldiers and utilize tactics while fighting them in the real scenario using cool weapons.

while blue lock is a sports shonen, the overall feeling is very simliar to world trigger. What makes both so good is the importance and detail in each of the many characters. In addition is intelligence and improving main key in both storys. if you like the story progress of one you will like the other one aswell.

Both take a very grounded approach to writing characters behaving as humans would The battles, albeit by nature fantastical, also feel very grounded and cohesive with the laid out world rules

Monsters appearing through portals that threaten humanity, mysterious powers bestowed on only some people, excellent artwork, gripping story.

while the whole premise is very different, both ajin and WT has a very similiar way of combat. they take a very organic way of fighting, with various options, and about how both side exhaust their options. not only that, both mc is sidelined and have minimal accomplishment in fighting, this makes the combat focus more on side character. if you like either one style of action,i'm sure you willl like the other's

They may have very different settings, Naruto is about ninjas with limited technology compared to modern times while World Trigger is science fiction, but their stories and characters are quite similar. The main characters consist of two boys, one girl, and one more experienced mentor figure. The protagonist is a boy who is considered to not have much skill. The other boy is quite skilled and the target of much discussion. The girl is where things differ a bit with Chika in World Trigger being a bit of target for the villains like how Sasuke is in Naruto. Still, both her and Sakura have a hugely  read more

Although they employ different premises, both series adapts a cast of characters who are able to perform superhuman feats. Both series takes place in an alternate world with abnormal technology. The main male character from both series often tries to help others especially involving his friends and allies. Both series has decent action with dark secrets that are unraveled throughout the course of their perspective stories. Recommended for fans of supernatural/sci-fi action.

They may not seem alike at first but Yozakura Quartet and World Trigger shares a number of similarities when taken from a modern fantasy/action point of view. Both series revolves around a group of characters with abilities in a place where people should expect the unexpected. There is mysteries regarding events that occur in the settings of both series as well that are explored. With a balance of lighthearted comedy and action, Yozakura Quartet and World Trigger are two series I'd recommend to anyone interested in some modern fantasy/supernatural battles.

Although both series follow different premises, Railgun and World Trigger share a variety of similarities as modern sci-fi/fantasy stories. The main characters from both series are helpful to those in need and possesses great skill in their abilities. Their relationship with other characters are also defined and focused over the course of both series. When conflict arises, both series adapts battles with superhuman feats. Both series also make room for comedy with ways to define their colorful cast of characters.

Its very hard seeing cute innocent children being the vocal point when it comes to fighting insanely powerful ugly monsters, but both of these manga's do just that. The children in both stories show with the right motivations anything can be achieved when it seems hopeless with no end insight. The two narratives show an amazing heartwarming and emotional ride between the children as they set out to take on what seems impossible.

Characters can regenerate their special bodies which are made specially to fight; their weapons and guns are crafted with energy, not "matter", and can transform; sci-fi setting with ever-growing mysteries unfolding about the way the world works and how The Universal Energy™ influences it.

this has to be so far the ONLY thing with actual similarity in terms of feel to world trigger. most of the other recommendations are really stretching it. as world trigger is quite unique in this regard. however Sensou Kyoushitsu or "the bungle call" in my opinion is the sore similar manga to world trigger. despite their difference in setting (one in medieval times and one in modern day) they both share a ton of similarities. for starters both protagonists are physically weak and can't really fight, and both of them join some kind of organization that is currently fighting against invaders. both of their systems have these kind  read more
