Main character starts as a kind of desolate social outcast to become worthful human through his own actions. Wonderful story about friendship, brotherly love and courage to chage one's fate.

In both titles, the narrative, which is about two nations at war, covers not only the physical skirmishes that transpire between the two nations, but also the diplomatic aspects of war. Both titles also feature similar aesthetics, themes, and settings.

These two manga actually belong to very different categories. But I feel like that in both manga the protagonist try to fight against impossible fate under a certain belief. Both manga have epic fighting scenes (and both have really slow updates ~).

Both of these are mecha manga that focus heavily on character interaction and drama, the action in both series is very heavily focused on a singular pilot of a mech that are basically hailed as the best at what they do despite being complete noobs to mech piloting in each series. The drama is the main focus of both of these manga, and each series also happens to have mechs that focus on both hand to hand AND long range combat, making the combat in both series feel varied.

Class Saiyasune de Urareta Ore wa, Jitsu wa Saikyou Parameter is basically Isekai - Break Blade. Almost same exact premise, protagonist survive by driving a hunk of monstrous metal in a world torn by politics, war and intrigues. Did I also mention love? It scratches the same niche, just not as well executed and thoughtful.

Both are military based fantasy stories deeper than the average shonen fantasy.

They both have magical stones in them and the art is very similar.

Despite being typified by different narrative styles and aesthetics, both titles revolve around a male protagonist who are the only one of their kind. In IS: Infinite Stratos, the male protagonist is the only male person to be able to control the series' mechanical suits. In Break Blade, the male protagonist is the sole user to be able to use an ancient golem.

Something about the world building reminds me of each other - like the military and the rivalry between island countries. Also, the main "couple" in both have a very "it's complicated" type relationship.

There is a big similarity in the position the protagonists are put in (won't say more so I won't spoil it for you). Both manga give the same feeling of a war for survival against seemingly superior enemies.

A number of similarities between the 2 even early on. BB includes a group of old friends, where one is different from everyone else in the world, because he cant use magic, one splinters off and is at war with the other's nation because of his brother. Similar to the Naruto-Sasuke dynamic. However it is different enough to not feel like you're reading the same manga.
