Both story have been done by the same mangaka and artist, and the plot is very good, lighthearted. at first both of the story turn to be kind of plain and boring but in later on, they are actually very enjoyable. well, you find one of the 2 is good i'm sure the other one will also be loved... check it out ^^

Both share the element of good looking and popular man looking out/taking care of/over seeing the welfare of a young girl. Both girls have similar personalities. They are courageous with a strong moral grounding, although the female protagonist for Arakure has a bit more depth.

The setting is different, shitsuji-sama is modern time whereas renai demo classic is more historical. but they both involve master-butler relationship; and the butler acts like a sensei in an attempt to make the girl more lady-like.

They are different but both are school shoujo with the same feel to them. They both have butlers serving a girl.

Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri and Kuroshitsuji both have amazingly handsome butlers. Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri is shoujo since the main character is a girl. But if you're attracted by beautiful uniformed butlers, it'll be a pleasure to read either of the two titles.

In these mangas, both protagonists lost their parents and because of their rich grandparents they enter a prestigious academy for ladies (and both happen to have buttler schools in them too). In both series the buttlers also have the highest ranking and are adored by everyone.
