Both share the element of good looking and popular man looking out/taking care of/over seeing the welfare of a young girl. Both girls have similar personalities. They are courageous with a strong moral grounding, although the female protagonist for Arakure has a bit more depth.
In both manga main girl is in master-servant relationship with hottest guy in her school. In Arakure he is her bodyguard, while in Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri he is her butler.
Both main girls are orphans who live with their grandparents. In Arakure grandfather of main girl is yakuza boss, while in Shitsuji-sama no Okiniiri grandparents come from distinguished background.
