A group of friends, living out there youth having fun, and falling in love. Although Horimiya is noticeably darker then Nijiiro Days.

Two lighthearted and delightful reads set in high school with the protagonists from their respective series, Chiyo and Natsuki dealing with their one-sided crushes. Both series are drawn cleanly and beautifully and contain a loveable bunch of supporting characters, bound to make you smile.

Both these mangas are hilarious. Both are set in a highschool theme but unlike "Nijiro Days", " Danshi kou..." is a plain comedy without romance in it. So if you don't consider the romance factor both mangas are pretty similar and will surely make u roll on the floor laughing if you read them with a open mind.

Both series explores youth and relationships between the main characters. There is romance that develops with story as each progresses. The main female protagonist from both series also has similar personalities but sometimes has a hard time expressing their thoughts. Their setting takes place at school where every day life events are relatable.

Both have a similar : - Romance -more than one couple -typical Love Problems

Both revolve around a group of guys falling in love and their fun lives at high school. Each chapter has an arc for each character falling or developing feelings for a friend/classmate. It shares the same humor and dynamic between friends

they are both light hearted shooui-romance manga, both the story share the same atmosphere or more precisely a love-struck environment

If when reading romance, you are often afflicted by the "second male lead syndrome" that results into an inevitable broken heart at the end of the series, maybe you would prefer stories that make it clear from the beginning who the main love interest is. Both Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare and Nijiiro Days manage to do this pretty well. So if you liked this aspect of Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare I really recommend Nijiiro Days . Plus, it has 4 couples instead of two: double the cuteness, double the feelings.

Both series are written from the perspective of the male lead who wants to win the girl's heart. Both are funny and heartwarming with a similar overall vibe.

Both manga are high school stories that deal with romance and interpersonal relationships in a group of friends. They both have moments of comedy and drama, and the interactions that the characters have with each other help make the overall story more enjoyable and relatable.

Both manga depict a silly group of friends that hand out together, fool around, and generally have a lot of fun together.

These two are both lighthearted comedy romance series. The characters are all in Highschool and hang out together, have fun and fall in love.

they share the same vibe, so if you like one, then you might as well try the other one

A group of guy friends, the exploration of a new friendship, their experience with love, from multiple perspectives. Some of the characters and their relationships are quite similar, however Ame Nochi Hare involves the supernatural and Nijiro Days does not.
reportRecommended by FluffyFish
Both have the male cast as the main characters instead of the women, showing their perspective in falling in love. Both show strong friendship between the four male characters respectively.
reportRecommended by Blumenkranzzz
Both series adapts a casual way of storytelling that expresses friendship and romance. There is a colorful cast of characters that consists of main and female characters. Taking place in a school life setting, we see their daily life experiences. There is an adequate amount of realism especially with it comes to youth. Both series contains lighthearted comedy that is charming and can make almost anyone laugh.

They're both cute, funny and about the everyday lives of high school boys.
reportRecommended by MintDubu
Both mangas focus on the relationship between four boys in a comedic way. I think the art in both mangas is very beautiful and similar. While Nijiro Days isn't a BL manga, both groups of boys help each other with romance as well as other situations

these two are extremely similar. the spontaneous characters (that are also guys) and the ridiculous humor, plus the high school setting. If you liked ouran this is a MUST READ. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

An extremely colourful, which is still perhaps an understatement, cast is what drives the two. Both works revolve around the characters' everyday lives ranging from nonsensical things to even more nonsensical things whilst strengthening their bond! Brimming with humour and a lighthearted atmosphere, these two works are amazing sources of enjoyment.

Nacchan and Anna are as adorable as Usa and Ritsu. Fans of the long, comedic, clumsy male pursuit of quiet yet quirky girls should give both series a try.
reportRecommended by Tickub
Mat-tsun and Mari-chan's relationship and circumstances are somewhat similar to Ichinose and Takanashi-san's since Takanashi and Mari both (more or less) have an unrequited love and the two popular boys both fell for those stubborn, (first) guy-hating girls. But for those who read Hatsu*Haru: Nijiiro Days isn't only about Mat-tsun and Mari-chan. It's abot Mat-tsun, his three best friends and their love interests. But their love stories are all great!

Both manga revolve around a group of four high school boys and their daily school life. They both have great friendship, shenanigans, interesting characters and a bit of romance.

Both stories make readers happy, as well as reflective. Besides the characters being in high school (therefore, having events like school trips and school festivals), these stories depict non-generic characters. There is definitely diversity among the characters, and various situations. You see how people who are in love do their best, in their own way and own pace. There are fabulous friends who encourage and help each other. There are close friendships and tight bonds. Both sexes work for their love. There are no stereotypical gender roles pinned to the perspectives that the stories are told from, as the characters learn and grow through their  read more
