Preliminary (46/119 chp)
An unique idea isn't necessarily a well thought-out idea.

That seems to be an accurate description of the modern Anime/Manga Franchises. While each series may be unique in some instances, and perhaps more and more deviant and attempts to be unique. For example, a main character that turns into a dog in one of the more recent shows that's airing, or some of the more infamous titles, such as Sword Art Online.

But enough of that, let's get a good look at what Seikon no Qwaser is about.

Set in a Japanese Eastern Orthodox High School, Seikon no Qwaser takes an unique concept of using female lactation as ...

Preliminary (24/119 chp)
STORY: Seikon no Qwaser has a great story except for all the ecchi parts. I mean, everytime they do the breastfeeding thing, I get shruggs... I actually learned about science and russian history with this manga.

ART: I really liked the art although it may have been a bit over the top with the boobs. Their weapons also had great designs.

CHARACTER: The characters were nice but they didn't have that deep personlity where you get dragged with what thy have to tell.

ENJOYMENT: Yes, it was enjoying but I don't really like it when it comes to all the naked scenes. It's like you get into the ...

Preliminary (Unknown/119 chp)
Gripping manga. The story starts off well and gets better and better. Using Russian Orthodox Chistianity and history as the background lots of action is dished out. Each warrior can control an element from the periodic table. They can even form alloys. The story is set in a modern school with more girls than boys. There are ecchi strands and a spiritual milk plot. But its not fanservice. Its well woven into the story. The ecchi panels are not flashy and doesnt try to visually gratify. The anime made a hash of it.

Seikon no Qwaser is my favorite manga series. In my opinion it is one of the best battle shounen series there is (other battle shounen do execute things as well as Seikon no Qwaser, maybe even slightly better, but SnQ is still the one who speaks to me the most).

Thought I should start with the art since I don’t have much to say about it besides the fact that seeing it evolve over the run of the manga is very interesting and later on the high contrast art, where a lot of things are either completely black or white without much grey, looks very appealing.

Moving ...

I started to read this manga because I thought that combination of seinen genre and Orthodox Christian theme should be a very interesting mixture. Unfortunately, Usagi was right, when she said that thinking isn't going to get us anywhere. It sure didn't — neither me, nor the author.

My main points are:

1. The manga is not really a seinen. Not for me at least.
2. Author's knowledge of a source material is zero to none.
3. The plot was being constructed on the go all the way through, minimum planing involved.
4. Characters are bland and, what's even worse, inconsistent.
5. The plot is erratic and is composed ...

tl;dr: A manga that has a surprisingly well thought out and unique world and mechanics as well as great art, but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of plot and characters.

Seikon no Qwaser is a strange manga. The series is probably best for how it involves battles where the combatants abilities are powered by sucking boobs and it takes the whole things completely seriously. More specifically, it involves Qwasers, who each have the power to control an element, sucking something known as Soma, which is what powers their abilities, from their partnered Marias. This may just seem like it’s using fancy words and ...

This manga sets out to do one thing. Be a borderline porn. And it does it well.
Basically, some people are able to bend certain metals to their will and to do that they use this....liquid which is essentially mana. Guess where that mana comes from? That's right! Anime tiddies. Bottles are overrated so they suck it straight from the source. That's it, the rest doesn't matter.

If you're looking for manga, with decent art, that has ungodly amount of tits in it with nudity and a couple of superpowered fights sprinkled on top of it, this is what you're looking for.
If you require ...

Let's get into it.

Story:

Mafuyu Oribe and Tomo Yamanaobe attend a private religious school called St. Mikhailov Academy, a parochial school of the Eastern Orthodox branch. Mafuyu is the adopted daughter of Tomo's father, the previous dean, who's been missing. The two find a Russian boy with white hair and blues eyes named Aleksandr. Quickly they become discover and become embroiled in the battles had between Qwasers--people blessed with the ability to control elements of hte periodic table; Aleksandr is thus established as the Iron Qwaser. A Qwaser's powers require the replenishment of energy through Soma, a magical substance drawn from the breasts of a woman ...

I never would think there’s a manga that shows breastmilk is a way to 1up your superpowers until at this very moment. This was mentioned on Inside Japan Tours</a> in order for yours truly to find out what’s the wackiest manga I could get a hold on. The story was crap like there’s rape undertones among each girl which leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. To think the author of Code Geass would try this type of story out was mind blowing. I still would consider Code Geass a great series anyway.

Overall this is a good idea but yeah it’s just one manga ...

First of all, to answer why is this manga so hated: the author mixed ecchi with dark shounen (I could call it a seinen, but let's be fair, it is not stretched that far). But don't let it stop you from reading it.

Usually ecchi audiences want the kink and light jokes and overall a non-serious vibe. Ecchi goes really well with slice of life anime, comedy, magical girls and all those frills.
On the side, seinen and dark shounen fans want the thrill, the fights and psychological warfare. The ecchi part of this anime can be very off-putting for these guys.
There is a small group of ...
