Both are about a boy and a girl who have a fake personality in front of others/school. Both are really sweet.

both are about keeping the main couple's relationship hidden from their peers and they need to act "normal" around them, there's also a side character dude that found out they're a couple and that side character is also shipped with women older than him.

-Same Author -Game Over is a collection of short upto chapter 3 from chapter 4 to 8 it's about a about a certain character from 14-sai no Koi, in other words 14-sai no Koi and chapter 4-8 of Game Over takes place in same universe and can be called spin-off

While one is a collection of shorter stories, Kono Kutsu Shirimasennka and 14-sai no Koi are written by the same Mangaka. If you want a couple shorter and just as good stories like 14-sai no Koi, it fills that hole. If you want a more fleshed out version of some of the short stories in the former, especially chapters 1, 2, 5 and 6, then you want to read 14-sai no Koi. The way the author deals with relationships that aren't min-maxed perfect is shown in all these stories talked about.

Similarities: - Start dating in the very beginning, and story focuses on development as a couple. - School setting 'Boyfriend' is shorter, more fast paced and with more drama to it (nothing excessive, it's just that 14-sai has basically no drama whatsoever), while 14-sai is still ongoing, gives off a bit more of an innocent vibe, and focuses on the small little things (and in between also sheds some light on the side characters).

If you like this one you WILL like the other. Both have : - two matures & smarts naives students - Not as mature as that when they are just together without anyone - so they wear some hypocritical mask. - Cute & awkward (naive) romance

Both are slightly dramatic stories that centers around pubescent kids growing up.

14-sai no Koi and Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata has a slice of life tone to their regular everyday stories. Known for their relationship developments, both series adapts a school life setting where we see different people coming together. There is romance present in both series that has a melodramatic-like feeling that is also filled with drama. But despite this, both series has a decent pace with more focus on the characters and the connections they build.

Both are very similar. In 14-sai no Koi they are old friends that not show their friendship. In Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou they were separated and when they meet again she gives him a cold side. Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou is very pervy, she gets wet when he touches her. They are in a very awkward state when one hour a day she loss he self control and jumps on him with lust. Both are good titles though both good Kimi wa Midara na Boku no Joou more comedy and 14-sai no Koi is more drama.
