Martial arts of various styles, insanely skilled masters, comedy and ecchi. If you ever wanted to read HSDK without Kenichi; replaced by egomanical, perverted bastard who doesn't suck at martial arts and can get with the ladies, AIKI is it.

Although Tenjou Tenge has a more serious story line, both are primarily martial arts manga with lots of ecchi.

Both dealing with Martial arts - Check Both with a female student seeking to be apprentice to a talented young man - Check Both star some powerful female characters - Check Both have school factions out for control - Check Both have Fanservice - Well Obviously The main characters differ rather greatly : one cant get close to women while the other is a sex hound

Both feature men which completely believe in their powers, so much that it's gotten to their heads and they're full of arrogance. Funnily enough, they barely get the beat down they deserve and lay wreck to all their opponents. If you're looking for a break from the stereotypical "wimpy personality yet insanely strong fighter" type of hero, these two should be both on your list.

Both GTO and AIKI have a teacher who is evil, crazy and perverse. even the general feel of both mangas are the same.

Main similarities: •Both have "secretly" over powered characters. Many enemies think MC-kun is weak, but easily gets beaten up. •Has many epic scenes. •Both MC-kun are masters who has proteges/students who learns from him. •Similar genres (action, ecchi, harem, martial arts, etc.) Both my favourite manga, therefore highly recommended to read.

Both mangas have a similiar story line about "the strongest" who lost his powers in some kind of event and gets them back piece after piece as the story progress

Quite possibly the pre-cursor or even prequel to Aiki. The fact traits of characters are similar and Joukyou himself could either be Umehachi or his offspring who also had his power sealed (By his Dad no less...) suggests they're related in some way. Takes the comedy element and expands on it to become a battle manga.

Both of these manga are raunchy and lean heavily into their comedic themes. While Aiki is more about fighting as a sport rather than delinquency as a whole, they both have similar absurd moments during fights and really aren't afraid to be as funny as they are action pacled. Aiki is far more lewd though.

The teacher in both the mangas, Joukyuu and Gumoonryong, are very similar. Both are martial arts prodigies and both take a student/students even though initially they are not willing to do it. Both of them have a badboy/playboy character. Though Aiki is considerably lighter and has a lot more ecchi than Breaker.

If you as a reader like your martial arts battles to contain both hilarity between entertaining characters as well as insane skill levels pertaining to various odd martial arts wielded by weird masters, look no further. Although essentially different in theme and execution, they both manage to balance action with comedy while freely shifting between the genres to play one straight. Of course, there is also a hefty dose of scantily clad women in both titles to keep your inner hentai pleased.

On the surface, these two titles are nothing alike, however, they are both hilarious martial arts manga centered around a ridiculously overpowered main character. They both employ their own unique styles of humor while mixing gag fights with serious battles while keeping the comedy intact, but if your main draw in AIKI was the ecchi; don't bother with Beelzebub.

Same mangaka, so as one might expect, same art, similar style of humor, and plenty of fun naked sexy time, despite it's difference in genres.

Both titles are about high school fights. If you enjoy Crows you will also like Aiki.

Similar looking protagonists who are great fighters, both ecchi comedy action stories, and both have pretty good art, but very different plots. These two series are very similar on a number of points without being retreads of each other in any way.
