Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou is the kind of manga that will catch a reader's attention in the first few chapters itself. It manages to live up to the expectations of people who have seen the anime adaptation and come to the manga looking for more. It's a Slice of Life so the main plot progresses at its own pace, but you'll never find yourself getting bored of it. There's always something entertaining going on at the Kawai complex.

The story itself isn't something extraordinary. It's a tale of 6 people - 4 adults and 2 students, each having their own eccentric personalities - living in the ...

Living in this world we meet a lot of ppl, some of them are those who we like while some are we don't. Some of them are ppl we want to stay forever with and some of them are that we just want to get rid of them somehow. "Fate" is a just a word and an abstract noun for some of us,but for some, it's not. For some,Fate is the thing which made them who they are today and fate also decided the ppl they get to be with today. This manga portrayed the word"Fate" and how it can affect others life. In this ...

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is a high school rom-com series aimed for mature audience. However, essentially the manga is a story about Ritsu Kawai, the love interest of our main character.

The entire story heavily relies on Ritsu's character and character development -- taking things like love and romance as nothing but part of ones life. This approach is already interesting as to most romance writers, there don't seem to be all that much else to romance stories than narrative driving cliches and the romantic feelings.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou goes in-depth with the love interests personal life, thoughts and overall personality there where so ...

Preliminary (81/93 chp)
This is the most recent review of this Manga, as the other 2014 one is not what one would describe this manga.

Who am I kidding? It's still adorably amazing.

I'm assuming you read the synopsis, by the way.

Manga in short: Underrated SoL romcom that is legitimately funny and actually progresses in romance.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou... First of all, I have to say, what a refreshing read. Heartwarming wholesome romance, hilarious comedy accompanied by beautiful and fitting art. I personally enjoyed every second of it.

Art
Every character is drawn according to their personalities, which is a nice cherry on top of the character design. This manga is pretty heavy on comedy, and the use of chibi art style is more than fitting. I’d say the art forms 70 % of the comedy in this particular manga. And if you’re looking for some cute wifus, the kawai complex presents plenty, especially close ups of certain female character’s facial ...

Ah, this is my first review, so I apologize in advance if my use of English is not good because my everyday language is not English.
let's go to the discussion.
I think the anime producer bokura wa minna kawaii-sou made a mistake. why? because he adapted the anime bokura wa minna kawai-sou not until the end of the manga story. I'm sure if the anime is made a sequel until the end of the story, the anime bokura wa minna kawai-sou will become a phenomenal anime. I bought the manga from the beginning to the end. The manga's continuation storyline will certainly make readers laugh out ...

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou was the first manga I ever read . The content in itself is pretty hilarious. I wouldn't recommend it for the romance as it is very slow and quite generic in nature. The enjoyment comes from the fact how the 6 people (2m 4f) sharing a complex along with the various side characters bring forward a story that makes you laugh through the smaller moments that we generally forget to cherish . Although I have read the manga so many times that I can recount all incidents perfectly in chronological order ,it is really so good that I wouldn't refuse reading ...

The starting point of this manga was very good. It’s a shame that it didn’t follow what can be considered the “best path” for its plot.
This is the main reason for my overall rating.
Quick foreword: I admit that I had some expectations for a manga that was considered seinen, the only seinen elements were dirty jokes. Even the themes of the manga didn’t really match it’s categorisation: it's "only" a typical romance, slice of life, entry-level shounen.

Unfortunately the plot is quite trivial, but the characters and the comedy somehow save the manga.
Point of merit for the drawings, really beautiful, some expressions really stand ...

I'll tell you the truth, I enjoyed reading it. But it was not interesting enough for me to actually want to read it outside of the dead hours at work.

The manga is not exactly bad, it's just very very boring. It's hard to stay focused on it unless you're really bored with nothing else to do (and for some reason I wanted to stick until the end, well, I heard it had a good ending that's worth sticking for).

The story is very poor. Nothing happens. NOTHING. I wish I could tell you what happened in the manga but I just don't remember. There weren't many ...

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou (manga) 9/10/9/9/9

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile.

✦Story✦
Another great and absolutely sweet vanilla romance story. The development of romance was slow, silly, emotional, but most importantly, absolutely adorable and cute.

What else you need to know about the story of romcom? Well, the only minus I can think of that I would wanted to see how their relationships grew and some sweet moments of that after the story ended.

Preliminary (81/93 chp)
It has been more than two years that I watched the anime and started reading the manga. Every time a new chapter would come out and one would usually come out after three months or so I would stop everything and read it.

This manga is really special to me and I don't know why. It just is. The jokes were awesome, the characters were awesome, the romance was awesome, the art was awesome.

There probably won't be another manga just like this for quite a while atleast for me. If you are thinking about starting it, then just start it. Watch the anime first. Believe me, ...

Mixed Feelings
This manga yo-yos in quality throughout the entire 93 chapters. I really enjoyed the first 20-30ish chapters, then the same repetitive shit happens again and again. It becomes pretty good for the final ten chapters, but then there is the 3 "Oh this is 2 years in the future" chapters that add nothing to the story. I would have a better opinion of the series if they did not have them.

The romance "plot" of this manga is drawn out and comes to a crawl for half the manga, and most chapters turn to be about Mayumi being annoyed that she's single.

There is a lot ...

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou is a Manga that is very appealing to someone who is searching for a Rom-Com Manga without too much Drama thrown in.
The story is somewhere between fair and good most of the time. It´s nothing too special, and nothing you have never read before. It´s presentation though is pretty decent and the balance between romance and comedy but also between school and slice of life is really well done overall.
To see Usa sometimes pushing too hard to get closer to his love interest, sometimes pushing not hard enough, and sometimes exactly right, and the interfering of the rest of ...

tl;dr: A manga about a very unique group of characters that slowly gets less charming as it progresses.

This manga is centered around the strange residents of Kawai Complex boarding house, the most important of whom are the protagonist, Usa, who just moves in and the fellow resident he immediately falls for, Ritsu. Ritsu is a somewhat anti-social bookworm, however Usa has a lot of experience dealing with people who don’t fit into the mold that society calls normal, so he’s perfectly fine with getting close to her according to her rules and at her pace. This at first results in an interesting relationship dynamic between ...

Mixed Feelings
I'd rate the first half 7/10, but the 2nd half was kind of a slog to get through at 6/10.
From half to three-quarter mark, the protagonist's "will they-won't they" hit peak frustration and I'm not sure I've felt so annoyed in almost anything I've read so far.
Overall the show hits extremely well with comedy, I always felt like it could make you laugh any time it wanted.
The final part of the story was a good wrap up albeit short. I'm also quite disappointed that no one kissed anyone at all in the entire story, the seinen tag was only applicable to the dirty jokes.
Lastly, I ...

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou is a manga characterized by its high content of dirty jokes, physical aggression and the romantic development between two students living in a residential complex.

Story(7/10): The plot focuses mainly on Usa and Ritsu but also gives us enough time to get to know the rest of the residents of the complex, characterized by having peculiar personalities in order to provide the comedy that is mentioned to us, which most of the times they achieve, although on occasions it can be somewhat repetitive or predictable.

The plot has a good start but later on the pace drops off noticeably which can cause frustration ...

Okay this took me a while to finish it, but I'll say that it was pretty good. I would have liked a kiss scene or a sex scene (like in Kimi ni todoke) but the whole story till chapter 90 was beautifully written. Mayumi× Shiro were hinted but never confirmed but I liked they showed us Manami a little. Sayaka's job is also not revealed. I would have liked to know what kind of job did Ritsu and Usa ended up doing. Sakuma and Shiina were forgotten, Hayashi too,( personally instead of Takahashi I'd have liked hayashi's story in the final chapters).
The story is pretty ...

The story kept me engaged and the humor was right up my alley, as for character development, it's a slow-burn journey that's rewarding by the end. However, my problem is with the art of the manga. I would usually overlook it for the most part when I enjoy a story as much as I did with this one, but it's genuinely atrocious at times. And it's not just the drawings but the way the artist organizes the panels, they're just a jumbled mess at times. Of course there are moments when the art is cute, especially when it comes to drawing Ritsu, but it doesn't ...
