Well it is rather the same, simply the girl version for this manga. Really well done too.

Overprotective semes!
reportRecommended by He11sDomain
Both ukes are small, feminine, and very cute ukes that have extremely overprotective semes. The KTnwHnK uke is very loud, and surprisingly strong, while the HK uke is gentle and kind of fragile.

there both written by the same author, both are shonen ai, drawn with the same style. and both for me are simple masterpieces...you can say komatta toki ni wa hoshi ni kike is sort of a prequel to super lovers because mikiko (the lawyer who help ren and haru find the house and haru's mothers best friend) is actually the mother of kiyomine in kiyomine in komatta toki ni wa hoshi ni kike.

apart from same shounen ai genre there is not much similarity between the two. in fact komahohi is slice of life ordinary school life story whereas silver diamond is fantasy . but if you like komahosi i bet you will like silver diamond too.i loved the art, character buildup and story line is pretty solid too. Silver Diamond was my first shounen ai read and its become my all time fav reads. so give it a try...

Although Komatta is more shounen-ai, the dynamic is quite similar. Both semes are seen as scary and tough, but they both have a soft spot for the uke, who is beautiful but tough. The ukes are often hit on by guys and girls call them cute, and they both know how to stand up for themselves and aren't dependent on the semes. In Komatta, they're roommates, so I think they get closer sooner in the story, but both mangas have well-developed relationships with great character development. Komatta is my favorite shounen-ai of all time, especially because of the mc, but Ashita is a very close  read more

The relationships between the characters in Komatta Toki and Keishichou are quite similar.

Both are long shounen-ai stories in which the romantic relationship between the main pair never becomes physical. The main couple is composed of a short, friendly, kindhearted person and a big, pessimistic, antisocial person with unusual family circumstances. It's about a partnership that balances itself out, as the antisocial person becomes the friendly person's protector.

They are perhaps two of the longest shounen-ai's out there as well as being downright hilarious and simply entertaining. Gravitation is more fast-paced, to match its setting in the celebrity lifestyle and music industry. It's for people who like silly gags, zany characters and dark back stories. Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike is a lot more slow paced and is easy to appreciate with its slice of life approach. People who like sweet romances will easily fall in love with this. The main love interests in both shounen ai's share a similar trait: they don't have a great start, often at each other's  read more

Both are set in a boys school. The relationships of Takara x Kiyomine and Georges x Robert are similar in; Takara and Georges both are rejected from Kiyomine and Robert for features of their face. Takara and Georges are both naive and have their complexes. Takara is afraid to be a burden to people and hated for it. Georges is afraid for just 'not being liked'. Kiyomine and Robert are unlikable guys that change for the better when interacting with Takara and Georges. Komahoshi is comedy, La Esperança is drama.

both manga are from the same author, thus also having the same style and feel to the story.the relationships and the characters are quite similar as well, with the uke being a cute type with a strong personality and the seme being the cool and quiet type. they have the same setting of school life and dormitory life. if you like one then you'd definitely like the other.

The relationship Kotarou and Tatsuki have reminds me of the relationship Takara and Kiyomine have. They argue a lot and get into a lot of trouble together - but they deeply care about each other. Also do Kotarou and Takara have - as well as Tatsuki and Kiyomine - character traits that are alike.

When I was reading Mainichi Seiten and it's side stories that fit perfectly into each other I began thinking about Komahoshi. Both are shounen-ai and have several volumes. While Komahoshi is placed in a boys school dormitory Mainichi Seiten is placed in a familyhome. Both of the stories have characters that grow, and when reading further you discover that the seemingly normal characters all carry a buried past. Both are definitely a must-read!

similar theme, similar characters.

Both based in high school with a cute main and a lover with a troubled past, Yatteranneeze is leaning more towards a oure sort of yaoi while Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike is more of the >///< shounen ai type, but if you like one, you'll like the other with these two AWESOME series!

Although KTNWHNK is not fantasy like KNMNM, they both have that heartwarming male friendship that you want to go farther but are so attached to their cuteness you don't. Both males are so similar. Both "tame" the main male and are protected by them.
